Food is nice and well presented. The venue itself is also well presented with good decor. However the customer service let the dining experience down. They were rude, one guest was slightly early before opening and the staff told off the guest it was not yet open and walked off? Could have offered to sit a the bar or something more friendly? Also there were a number of waiting staff but not well placed or trained requiring us to go out of our way to draw their attention (to get soy sauce for a sashimi dish).

We went for dinner on a Sunday night, it was our first visit ever, based on a good review by a friend. We had the all-you-can-eat option. We ordered our starters first, sushi/gyoza/bao. Then our mains, since there were 5 of us we decided to try every main and every salad. The food was very good overall. Next visit we can be more targetted in our approach. What is lacking is the attention to service, everything we needed we had to call a waiter over, and there were not enough waiters on the floor.

This visit was a big disappointment. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed and poorly managed. We sat at the bar when we arrived but there was no one serving at the bar. When we finally attracted someone's attention we ordered drinks. Then we sat at our table and after a considerable time a menu was produced. After another long wait our order was taken and then 35 min later the first dish arrived! The whole process was very amateurish and as the host for the evening I was very embarrassed. Then to top it off a bunch of young kids started running around squealing very loudly. This place needs a major management overhaul. The venue itself is very nice. Pity.

Quality of food was first class, it is right up there with the best Japanese cuisine Melbourne has to offer.

If you like Japanese food, this is the place to come. Every evening a Feed Me menu is offered. For $59 per person you may order anything from their menu (with the exception of a few premium dishes), as many times as you wish until you are full. The food was fresh and delicious and each dish was beautifully presented. I would recommend the Sushi Sashimi Moriawase, Shiitake Scallop, Chawanmushi and Tempura Moriawase as some of the dishes you must try. Of course there are many other dishes you can select from but you should choose carefully as you would need a massive appetite to taste them all. If you have remembered to leave room in your stomach for dessert, I would recommend the Dessert Tasting Plate and the Peanut Bomb. The restaurant has a Happy Hour between 6:00-730pm which includes $8 house wines and $7 tap beer. The staff were friendly and polite and cleared the table promptly. Unlike some restaurants, they did not have a time limit on how long you had to enjoy your meal. We had an excellent dinner and would high recommend it. @wazzzzzzza

Very disappointed with the service. Despite two requests to the waitress that we were ready to order, we were ignored. We waited 30 minutes then left without any service.

Although it was eat until you were full and with a group of 10 we were really hungry. They stopped us mid ordering and told us multiple times that we should wait for the food to come out and try it first and if we liked it, to then go ahead and order more. The plates were placed down and the food was gone in seconds. Tried to order more and the waiter/s kept telling us to wait and we would request for two and she would tell us to have one serve instead. We said we’d pay the extra IF there was wastage and also said there wouldn’t because we were hungry. Being told not to order and having been told we ordered a lot and should drop our serves was really a mood killer and killed our appetite. The food was good.

Ordered the $59 feed me. Excellent value for money and dishes came out in a timely manner. Both our table and the one beside though ordered the tampura dish which we had to remind them we ordered it. Suspicious that both of us had the same issue on the same dish. Setting inside is nice. Tokyo sunset cocktail was incredible. Would go back for sure! Stay sexy and cool!

Food was good, atmosphere was nice and clean. We had planned to come in for the feed me menu but was told that option is only available for dinner. We each had the business lunch set instead which was great value for money. We will return and try the feed me menu next time.

Food and service is very good. Feed me menu is worth it if you can eat a lot. But a la carte is very good option with more premium choices. Except sake is quite pricy - $27 for a tiny jag.
