Authentic, healthy and fresh Korean cuisine is what’s to be had at Melbourne’s Miss Korea Kitchen. Found on Burke Road, only moments from Camberwell Station, this local favourite serves more than your typical bibimbap. The menu at Miss Korea includes numerous lesser-known Korean dishes including ssam, a dish in which guests use lettuce to wrap up beef or pork, then dip it into a delicious sauce called jang made from chilli paste and miso. The restaurant offers a wide range of incredible soups and stews – try the spicy sausage stew made with several different sausages, kimchi, baked bean, sliced cheese, corned beef, rice cakes and an array of vegetables. There are noodles galore, plus favourites like bulgogi, Korean barbecue and kimchi pancakes. Miss Korea Kitchen is hugely popular in Camberwell – book ahead to grab the perfect table!
A bit expensive, food is not bad. Wanted traditional Korean food like sundubu but not available. Service is fast, ambience of place not bad, quiet.
Really, really tasty Korean food with pleasant, helpful service and a funky ambiance. Noise level is fine. This was our second visit and we shall be returning.
