Have always loved the food at Monngos. The value was always noted with great authentic Indonesian food. However their Street food option tonight was very ordinary and the value very questionable. Service just non existent. I can understand quiet nights, but to be the only table there and not to be attended is one thing, but cold, dry satays , burnt beef satay and watery broth is just very questionable. Did the crowds leave with the delicious beef rendang and crispy bebek tutu?? If this restaurant is not going to be another Beaufort Street memory, lift up the service and food quality. think about your customer!
Loved the classy menu book. Great range of gluten free food 🙏
Yum. catered well for dietary needs. very early so very quiet.
Great little restaurant with amazing food, always one I recommend
It was our first time at Monggo!. The food was fresh and tasty and the staff were delightful. We will be back for sure.
food is delicious, lots of choice service a bit slow, only one waitress running aroud
great food! caters very well for vegan/ vegetarian and Gluten Free diets. one waitress can make the service very slow but always friendly and accommodating.
16 people, food came out in drips and drabs, cold for some. When one half finished food the rest got theirs, and waitress polite in beginning rude at end. Used to go at lest every 6-8 weeks. Won’t be returning very soon.
Best Indonesian food in Perth The only Indonesian restaurant (to my knowledge) to prepare food in a modern contemporary style. The rendang and the lamb shanks absolutely enak N&A
we had ordered a rijstafel but the portions were extremely small and not very exciting - only 4 dishes - 2 tiny chicken thighs, 3 tiny salted fish, 5 blocks of fried tofu and some beans in peanut sauce, then dessert with a few banana fritters and 1 piece of cake - with a pan of steamed rice and vegetables (the only item that was adequate). On the whole, not very good and extremely expensive. We will not go there again.
