Montezuma's - Glenelg

Came here for lunch and found the food was average, expected a bit more flavours in the meals. But overall we had a nice time and customer service was good.

Chose Montezuma's for a change in cuisine. Pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, nice food. Enjoyable experience . Will definitely be back and will recommend to my friends.

Food was good however the service was really not great. Had to call someone over to take our order and were left with our dirty plates for over 30 minutes, until once again we called someone over. It wasn’t busy enough to excuse poor service especially as we could see the staff standing around and chatting. Disappointing.

We always enjoy our visits to Montezuma's at Glenelg. Food is always tops and although a tad noisy at times we always managed to be able to have a conversation.

Very Nice food at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The brightly coloured décor gives a Welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. can get busy on a weekend.

It was ok.....my meal wasn't overly tasty so I was disappointed but the margherita was awesome. Good customer service from the waitress who served us.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, the choice of a full page vegetarian/vegan menu, colouful sombrero's to wear, (and when set up - options of a mexican styled decorated booth for photo's which included maracas), made this visit awesome. Thank you Montezuma's!!

Good that they specify nut items on the menu...a nice change from having to ask about every dish. Vege and vegan options too. Very hot plates...take care

Excellent food, drinks and friendly staff. Easily combined with a movie at the Event Cinemas Glenelg to make for a great night out with family/friends.

My son had his birthday party at Montezuma's Glenelg last night. We all enjoyed the food and atmosphere - all seven of us. Personally, being a plant based eater - I thought my vegan meal looked the best. The Montezuma's special... om nom nom.

Food was very fresh and cooked beautifully, especially for a very busy Mother’s Day .Lots of atmosphere and staff were fantastic with a very busy restaurant. Drinks were lovely and cold as they should be . Fantastic lunch 😊

The food was average and the staff were disinterested in providing anything but very minimal service! We tried it a few years ago but thought maybe it had improved so have it another go.......sadly we were wrong!!!

Lovely staff and nice food. Good for families. Sangria is fab. The wooden chairs are a bit uncomfortable but they suit the Mexican style. Easy parking is a bonus.

Great food and great atmosphere. You can be waiting quite some time for drinks and food here. Little disappointed by the frozen margaritas as they weren’t very frozen. Otherwise one of my favourite places to eat.

The restaurant is very busy. But with good service, and friendly staff makes it a good experience. Didn't have to wait long for meals and the Sangria is a bit special. Had a great night. Thanks! 😃

Nice food and atmosphere. The service is better on weekends. Food is well presented and prices are ok. Booking is recommended for weekends and special days. A good place to enjoy a nice time.

The food was very tasty, all meals at the table were devoured. Our Carafe of Sangria also went down well. We enjoyed good food and a good atmosphere.

We’ve been a few times and enjoy dining here. Friendly and reasonably quick service, nice food. Great location and easy parking. We enjoyed ourselves and would go again.

Meal was lovely. Lively atmosphere..Great evening. Mostly a younger crowd which suited our boys and their girls. Met people we knew from the boys days at school.. Perfect really

The ambiance is great, we try try to come here for most special occasions. Sangria is to die for, and the food is always amazing. They've added a vegan and vegetarian menu now too!

It was very disorganised. No ser kettles at the table. I was with my two small children. One child's order came out the but other didn't. We had to wait another 15 minutes for the other meal to arrive

We just love it at the Glenelg Montezuma's. We were there last night for a combined birthday/anniversary dinner. At the end, we leaned (slightly!) over the serving counter and thanked the 2 cooks. Delicious meal ! - susan

Always have a fun night at Montezumas. Good value and excellent Sangria. Busy Friday night but service was still good and food was very filling.

The location was great, being so close to the GU Film House made it an obvious choice. The service was friendly, prompt and they happily accommodated a change to the meal on the menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

The food was good and the service was ok. The staff were helpful and friendly. Not many people there and it is a big place so at times we felt ignored as staff seemed to ‘disappear’ into the back of the restaurant. Maybe filling takeaway orders? The six of us enjoyed the meals we had although they did seem quite pricey for what they were. We had some vouchers which reduced the cost considerably.

Always yummy food. Ordered the 4 Combo as an entree - smallish portions for the price and we ran out of chips. Will be back!

Food was average and customer service sub par, waiting for extended periods to be served. Plates left on table for fifteen minutes after mains finished before we decided to leave and get dessert elsewhere.

As always we received amazing friendly customer service and great quality food. Cannot wait to return for more. It's our favourite restaurant down at the Glenelg.

Great restaurant! Great staff, food and drinks! We love this place! They will always go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your experience! We are regulars there and come nearly 2-3 months a month!

We live at Port Elliot, but we love eating at Montezuma's at Glenelg. The owner Julie and her staff are fantastic.The food is always fresh, hot and delicious.
