Booked a table this afternoon for this dining this evening. The place was quite busy and had good atmosphere. Ordered our regular 4 x dips to start and could eat that every day if I could. So good. Grabbed a litre of Sangria which is the perfect beverage for these meals. My wife got her main meal about 10 minutes before mine came out. That wasn't ideal but it was worth the wait. The option to grab a side of jalepeneos is great to spice things up. Got a sore bum from the wooden seats. :p

Great service. The waitress was friendly and the right amount of attendance to the table. Food was good, filling, but lacked that wow factor. Asked for a beer and a cider, received 2 beers? Oh well.

Shabby menus, average service, average food, would not hurry back

Food came out quickly, Burritos were yummy, service was good, the only disappointment was the shaken Margarita, it tasted just like lemon cordial, if there was tequila in there you couldn't taste it, in the end we couldn't finish them as they just weren't good sorry to say.

Such an authentic Mexican experience. Well worth a visit when you’re in town.

I used to love going to Montezuma at North Adelaide so I was sad to hear they closed, thought my fond memories would be the same at Glenelg, but sadly not. The rice was extremely dry, it didn't seem fresh very pre-made and heated up. And there's something not quite right with an Asian cooking Mexican there just didn't seem like the enjoyment of cooking was there

The staff were great once promoted. We grabbed our menus after sitting for a good 20 mins. Once they were available they were amazing. The meals were delicious and good quantities. A little disappointed that the birthday club wasn’t mentioned given staff knew the booking was for a birthday.

Montezumas seems to be the only good Mexican restaurant left in Adelaide. Proper Mexican - not just everything stuffed into a wrap.... Proper Frijoles & excellent Burrito. Thanks.

We dined fairly early, so the restaurant was not hugely busy. However, regardless of this, the staff were extremely friendly, and went out of their way to assist us, including our 2 older guests with mobility issues. Beautiful food, enjoyed by all 7 of us. Thank you Montezuma's Glenelg!

Tonight we had a belated birthday celebration with my birthday voucher - join the birthday club if you haven’t already. Great perks that encourage you to come back to celebrate. We were in a hurry so asked for all food to be delivered at the same time and the staff were, as always, lovely and accomodating, with our food delivered in well under 10 minutes. We ate our fill and took our left overs to enjoy for lunch the following day. As always, a great meal.
