A great place to reminisce that caters for all ages.

Place was packed but everything went smoothly. Love the menu. How sad they’re closing.

Firstly, the restaurant tried to put out 6 pax into a booth for 4 pax! Then we got moved to a table with 5 chairs in a corner with no lights and no air .. it was stifling hot! Service was poor, had to wave staff over to get served and the food was bland. Over disappointing but we learnt they were closing their doors for good .. so the care factor was zero!

This place was an institution and it’s sad they’re closing. Have always found the menu to be good value and tasty. Most of the staff are excellent and try their best.

We had such a lovely experience tonight. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were so friendly and efficient and the food was amazing.

It is always wonderful to visit Montezuma's and it is shame because of the circumstances that they are closing soon.

Cool ambiance. Food didn’t disappoint. When dining with kids, be careful not to touch the plate after it’s served- hot plate!!

Staff nice but food not Mexican When offering a specific cuisine the chef should visit country and see & taste food Did not have Mexican flavours

Menu card dirty and stained couldn’t read the drinks on card, the food was not up to standard as I have visited many of their stores over a number of years, really low grade ingredients poor standard! Do not eat there tables were sticky no air conditioning and after my wife order a drink off the menu was told we have ran out of that flavour, never again

Always delicious food and great atmosphere. Sangrias are delicious too

Food & atmosphere was good. We had one margerita which was very good & great value, but then they ran out! It was New Years Eve!!! So we asked for a G&T but they'd run out of gin too!!! Wine list & availability was extremely disappointing. Considering it was NYE, would have thought they would have stocked up!!!

Food was good, but a Mexican that doesn’t do fajitas??? On the menu but permanently crossed off, wouldn’t have gone if I’d known that as they are on the on line menu. Great decor and the staff were nice.

Called the restaurant to say we were running late. When we arrived they didn't make us feel we were an intrusion. Love the vegan Montezuma delight. Have it every time I'm in Adl. I live 400km away.

Booked a table this afternoon for this dining this evening. The place was quite busy and had good atmosphere. Ordered our regular 4 x dips to start and could eat that every day if I could. So good. Grabbed a litre of Sangria which is the perfect beverage for these meals. My wife got her main meal about 10 minutes before mine came out. That wasn't ideal but it was worth the wait. The option to grab a side of jalepeneos is great to spice things up. Got a sore bum from the wooden seats. :p

What’s not to live about Montezuma’s Glenelg. Speedy, friendly service. Tasty, ample food. Yummy sangria.

Great service. The waitress was friendly and the right amount of attendance to the table. Food was good, filling, but lacked that wow factor. Asked for a beer and a cider, received 2 beers? Oh well.

Shabby menus, average service, average food, would not hurry back

Food came out quickly, Burritos were yummy, service was good, the only disappointment was the shaken Margarita, it tasted just like lemon cordial, if there was tequila in there you couldn't taste it, in the end we couldn't finish them as they just weren't good sorry to say.

Such an authentic Mexican experience. Well worth a visit when you’re in town.

I used to love going to Montezuma at North Adelaide so I was sad to hear they closed, thought my fond memories would be the same at Glenelg, but sadly not. The rice was extremely dry, it didn't seem fresh very pre-made and heated up. And there's something not quite right with an Asian cooking Mexican there just didn't seem like the enjoyment of cooking was there
