MJs has changed so much over the last couple of years. From being a bit pretentious to being super friendly and helpful and making you feel like a friend. The food is amazing and the drinks are great. Do not leave without trying a white chocolate and Passionfruit Martini, the NAKATOMI OLD FASHIONED and CHERRYWOOD SMOKED SALMON. Great job MJs!

If your a smoker it’s good as tables outside of the restaurant are used for smokers last night I counted 28 people smoking which resulted in smoke blowing into the restaurant whilst eating.. ok if you smoke but yuk if not .. ruined our date night

Amazing service and great food, just slightly too slow with serving food but otherwise very happy. And excellent cocktails of course! Would definitely visit again

The set menu was no where near the quality of the standard menu. The time between each tasting was extremely lengthy with the total siting being 3 and half hours. The only reason the last two courses where brought out quicker was due to the fact that we followed up the waitress to chase them up. They also brought out dishes to our table 3 times which where the same meal as we just ate. We highly recommended the restraunt to friends and even bought a voucher for a present and we are now worried that they will receive the same quality on our second visit on Valentine’s Day. First visit food was 9/10 second visit 5/10. Disappointed for a $250 meal!

Too noisy for a romantic dinner sadly, and whilst the food was nice, the servings were small even the "large" plates, not for sharing. Therefore expensive for what you are getting. Wouldn't go for dinner again

My friend and I went on a Tuesday for the mystery box 4 course dinner. All 4 courses were superb in taste and presentation. The first course tho was only 1 oyster each so maybe a couple each would have been better. In the restaurants defence the manager on the night was excellent with his service and when he realised we were not going to be satisfied with the 4 courses to feel full he threw in an extra course of some tasty(but ugly lol) charcoal peppers. I will return again to try their normal menu. Definately worth trying. Very impressed

Had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday. We ordered the four-course dinner, with stunning looking for each dishes. Some of my friends are with the condition of allergy, they still can handle them well with precious food treatment and some are even replaced with a more fancy one, which surprised us. A good time there.

Tuesday mystery set dinner was fantastic. If you love food then experiencing the kitchens experimental process is a real privilege. And provided us (the diners) with an evening of stimulating conversation working out the chefs thought process, what worked and what could be done to elevate the dishes. Lots of fun and not a bad dish in the four courses. Give it a go.

The service was excellent and food was wonderful. The dessert was especially well plated.

Food was good, cocktails also. Venue is awesome. Also had quite a bit of atmosphere. Easy to deal with when booking and so on. Good night.

There was a private function which meant that the service was average. The waitress we had didn't seem to know what food she was serving and just threw it down on the table. Also it was very uncomfortable as the airconditioner was not working properly.

Food was more than satisfactory. Didn’t have to wait long for each course. A little expensive for what we ordered though. Staff were friendly enough but lacked professionalism. Floor was dirty upstairs.

The service and especially the food was first class. The only concern was the overall noise very difficult to have a conversation over dinner without raising your voice.

Food was great, service was good but they appeared to have forgotten our starters and only prepared them when we asked twice if they were on their way.

The sushi platter is amazing. Great presentation and really fresh, tasty flavours. Definitely recommend it. Also we’ll w signing up for their emails for a special birthday treat!

The food was delicious. We arrived in time fir hapoy hour so I tried a cocktail and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent too.

I've had dinner there before and it was very good, but Sunday lunch - forget it. Limited selection, small portions and patchy service. Try elsewhere

Celebrated my birthday dinner with my husband and daughter. Lucy was our host for the night. Prob one of the best in the business. Incredible customer service practice. Delicious food and drinks. Can’t wait to come back! Light, flavoursome bursting flavours and very funky!

Lovely ambiance and the service was personable. We had the Royal tasting menu and all the courses except for the last of the mains were exceptional and the amount of food for a tasting menu was generous. Great service, great food, great drinks... just plain great! High tables and chairs weren’t ideal for our party, but that was a small issue considering how much we enjoyed everything else.

Used my birthday club offer which included a free bottle of wine. A nice addition to our dinner. Food was great and staff were attentive.

Great food with lots of interesting combinations. The dumplings starters set the scene for what was to follow. A wonderful experience if dining with friends who enjoy sharing and tasting.

Food and cocktails were impressive however perhaps a little more attention to cleanliness would have been appreciated. One wine glass was still marked with lipstick, the menus were stained with food and dirty and the floor needed a good sweep. Considering our booking was at midday and Morris Jones opened at 1pm. Surely the venue would be clean. We went to order a glass of verve champagne but were told they had run out! Seriously?! Dan murphy’s is just down the road.
