Further Information

Diners flock to Moti Mahal for its relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and, of course, its incredible curry selection. A BYO restaurant, Moti Mahal encourages diners to take along some wine or beer to wash down their meal with. The menu here is long, but don’t let that discourage you – ask your server if you’re feeling indecisive. Perfect for the whole family, Moti Mahal on Malvern’s Glenferrie Road is your best bet for an unforgettable curry in the Melbourne area.

Perfect for meat-lovers and vegetarians alike, Moti Mahal in Melbourne’s Malvern has dozens of delicious options to choose from. Try the banarsi dum aloo, potatoes filled with cashew nuts, cumin-flavoured cheese and sultanas, or go for the classic bhindi masala. The restaurant does plenty of great seafood dishes like molee fish, jhinga masala (prawns in a curry sauce of onions tomato and capsicum) or sarson bhatte macch, Bengali-style fish. All the classics are there, from butter chicken to lamb rogan josh: reserve ahead and try them all.
