Very happy dinner with 6 of us, very friendly staff

Location was great for us, being close to the Art Gallery. The food was great and most food came out quickly. This was a busy place on a Friday night and was run well. When a dish didn’t turn up the manager was onto it and resolved the issue quickly and friendly. Next time we are in Bendigo, we would come back here for a meal.

Really awesome food and great service. Will be back for more real soon.

I absolutely love this restaurant. It has definitely become my favourite. My only issue is that it does get hard to move around as it's a tight squeeze. But still 10/10

Third time eating here. This time I was very disappointed. We all sat down and waited to order. Over there next 1 hour and 15 minutes NONE of my food was brought out. Every other person in the restaurant was eating but me. People that arrived after me were eating seconds. I had to ask 4 waiters what’s going on and still nothing. I finally asked one guy who seemed to be higher up and he brought out some food. By the time I finally ate it was nearly time to go (2 hour time slot). I worry about going back incase it happens again. Very sad as this was an amazing restaurant

Staff were a bit clueless when it came to knowing the menu and understanding requests. As someone who goes to OKAMI a lot in Melbourne they don’t really meet close to the OKAMI stranded in terms to food quality, size and efficient.waited 20 min to order and I had to go up and ask someone if they could please come over Only great thing I saw is they had someone designated to serving food and cleaning all menus and commonly used items that was great to see. I think I’ll be only going to venues in Melbourne from now on not worth it unfortunately

Tastey and plentiful Japanese food and options. Great value for money.

The serving of the food is too small for sharing. Slow serving and didn't get the attention that other tables have.

We loved our dinner at Okami Bendigo, but it did feel a bit like we were penned in with as many people as possible squeezed into the space. Maybe we just got used to open spaces through the pandemic and now it just feels too crowded. Apart from that the food and service were fantastic. Oh, and it was nice and warm inside on a cold night.

Food was excellent. Service was fast and very friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

The chicken teriaki could have been hot..the chicken was warm then had cold teriaki sauce on top make the whole dish cold. Other than that the other meals where good

We had the smorgasbord and some dishes didn’t come out at all Took a very long time to receive dishes We had a small bowel of rice given to us for three people at one stage and nothing came out for 30 minutes after that . Other tables seem to be getting a lot of food but not us .

Friendly, tasty dinner. The booking was not registered even though was booked on this platform one month ago and I received reminders. Restaurant host had no idea we were booked in for dinner. Able to accommodate our large group for my birthday. Was a great night. Thank you

This was our first time here. My 9yo and 11yo absolutely loved everything we ordered. We shared many dishes: sushimi, octopus balls, teriyaki chicken, seaweed salad and many more. This is now our favourite restaurant as a family. Thankyou!

We had several waiters who were all great, and Mason who was exceptional. He was able to preempt we were about to order food on each occasion, knew all the dishes and correct pronunciation, and was very pleasant and helpful- you’ve got a good one there!

Difficult to order, esp drinks when staff member could not take alcohol orders. We were kindly allowed to move to another table when we arrived due to the one provided facing the toilet door. However, we had to move the cutlery to the new table. Otherwise, had a lovely time enjoying good food with out of town friends.

Loved it and will return again :) Yummy in my tummy.
