Okami - Braddon

The service is terrible and the tables are squeezed. Not recommended.

The first table we sat at was ridiculously wobbly, although we were moved quickly, we note that someone else was sat there. The food was not particularly hot when it arrived at the table, which was disappointing.

After ordering our main we waited for 20+ minutes, however people around us that came well after we’d been seated were receiving their meals.

Crowded a la carte all you can eat buffet restaurant. Decent food that you order via your phone. Food takes some time to arrive so do bear that in mind given the 2 hour eating time. Our food order went missing twice but it was rectified by staff. Dessert was good.

We booked a table for 8 people at 5.45pm, supposed to have two hours of dinning time. We got asked by a waitree to leave at 7.30 once as the next group had arrived. We were about to do gift for the birthday people. I asked if we could just stay for another few minutes to finish up. Less than 1 minute, another waitress came and asked us to leave. I told her we could stay until 7.45. thats not very nice. Im not happy with the arrangement. If we are meant to have 2 hpurs, we can stay until 7.45.there are a number of empty tables that they could have let the other group seated. I cannot understand why they had to rush us to leave. Definitely not happy with this.

Food was good but our first order took more than 40 minutes income out (including our drinks) It seemed to be shortstaffed. Same happened last visit to Braddon, however went in Albury recently and was fast and really great. Also not a big fan of the QR code ordering.

It was our first time to visit the branch and it was a great experience. The servings of the food are the right amount to try everything. The taste is awesome. But i just saw that 2 of our dishes are not consistently prepared, a meat is hanging outside the plate and some meat are burnt. And with the staffs just noticed that only 2 are approachable and smiling. Overall it was great.

We was so very disappointed when we went to it, we are regulars in our local town and we go to that one twice a month, this one tonight was horrible, poor service, very very slow service, staff not happy, I was there about a year ago and it was not good at all, but wanted to give it a 2nd chance, but will NEVER be back to this one again…plan to stay away

I ordered Teriyaki Salmon and steam rice. The salmon is obviously burned and tasted a little bitter . The steam rice is definitely not freshly cooked and I did not touch it at all.

Friendly staff despite the chaos. Food was good and came on time.

The QR code would not work so the order was taken by staff. Food took over an hour to arrive. Despite being the first table seated for the session we were watching all the other tables being served. Having one person able to order from the QR code was inefficient and it didn’t even work. I’ve been before and it was amazing. But this time was very disappointing.

Love the food at Okami. Always fresh and delicious. Such great value for money.

We went there many times, friendly staff and nice food! But I won’t come again, the lady was very rude and food was terrible taste today. So disappointed！

The wait time for the food was a little too long. The staff were not friendly and basically delivered the food and said nothing. Good customer service makes a big difference in relation to your dining experience. We were also charged a public holiday surcharge, even though it was a Saturday and not a public holiday.

Food was amazing as were the cocktails! Staff were lovely and attentive! The new QR code table ordering is also amazing can't wait to return!

All you can eat Sunday lunch was delicious. The food is really good. The food comes out well paced ordering a few dishes at a time by phone. Lovely way to eat. Wasn't very busy, Easter Sunday, so the noise level was low. Extremely pleasant experience. Look forward to our next visit.

The service is friendly. The steak texture is so dry like jerky. Most of the deep fry items taste weird, feel like the frying oil it’s stales. That can be improved.

I took my nephew for his first Okami experience. Overall it was a great meal and he enjoyed it. There was some lag with dishes, dishes ordered in the first round arrived later than a second or third round order. The new system of phone ordering is fine, but a bit harder to see what you're ordering. I preferred the old system, because I could see the meal photo on the paper menu and would discuss what to get with my party. The photo is a lot smaller on my phone.

So good, food nice, delicious and tasty. I will come back again

A variety of food. Friendly staff. I love the seasoned squid salad.

Good value. Service is prompt. However, wrong dishes delivered and some dishes ordered but did not turn up until questioned.

Food was so so, plus we were asked to put in our last order at 7pm when we arrived at 6pm. Felt very rushed, not sure if I would ever return

Reasonable pricing for all-you-can-eat. Delicious sushi, beef carpaccio and steak.
