Okami – Cronulla

It was very busy (Valentine’s Day) but the staff were all lovely and friendly. We had issues with our QR code at the start which meant that none of our food arrived so my advice would be to ask for a new QR code straightaway before ordering. Otherwise a great night!

It was the first time we’d ever been & it definitely won’t the last! Food✅ Service ✅ Waiting time✅ Value for money ✅✅ Ease of ordering ✅ Can honestly say we all loved everything that we ordered the first time, so we ordered more! And no, I’m not a shareholder or the franchisee🤣

We took our visitor from Spain & found our experience exceptional. Fab service, the freshest of ingredients brought out very pleasing to the eye. Delicious in every mouthful. Been here a few times with guests & not one dissappointment, in food. Fantastic value!! Will be back soon. Molly

There was some initial confusion about how to order. The QR code system was not explained and was not clear. But once that was sorted service was good and the food was great

Took to long for the food to come and some didn't even make the table.

Hey Guys Food great, BUT the service @ Cronulla was terrible for the second time in a row for us.We had to wait for over an 1 hr at one stage to get more food and two waiters would not help us ........

Great place to visit, staff is friendly & polite went with the all you can eat once ordered the dishes come out quickly and the food is very good , it would be nice if there was a little more variety just my opinion

We had the AYCE - for vegan & non-vegan. The options were incredible & very high quality. Lydia was an amazing server, she was friendly, attentive & made our experience even better. I loved being able to bring my dog and sit outside 🥰

Food was alright but sometimes cold, we ordered something and it came out 90 minutes later

Waiting for buffet each order was quite long. We ordered sushi platter first but then one of them came last so we decided to pay and cancel the rest of our orders which some of them were ordered at the begining. The restaurant was quite busy. We sat for around 1hr and 30' but we did not have enough food to eat. Staffs were nice but they way too busy to serve us all.

After getting seated we had a 20 minute wait just to get the QR code for ordering, and then verrrrrry long waits for the different items. In the end 4 courses that we were ordered were never served. The staff were hard to flag down but very nice when they did come to our table. Seemed like the establishment was overwhelmed with trying to accommodate both take out delivery drivers and the seated diners to the detriment of the customer service.

Food was very slow. After only receiving 1 dish in 45mins we eventually found out that our table qr code wasn't working properly. Restaurant was understaffed so finding someone to order proved difficult. Due to this low staffing, I could see the counter piling up with food - which explains why some of our arrived cold

Attended to on arrival and good service. Small serves on most dishes

- Food quality can improve particularly the beef - Service was very slow, felt hungry waiting

Really do enjoy Okami. Have visited two of their restaurants and every time it is a great overall experience. I would love thinner tempura but other than that love it.

Food was good but beef portion sizes were smaller. Staff were rushed off their feet and it was difficult to get service. We had to repeatedly request our food orders and still never got what we ordered. We were there for 3 hours!! We didn't order from QR code so maybe this was the problem...

Prawns soft some hot vegetables came out early waited 15 minutes for the hot meat to come out they go together think the menu is getting worst everything is getting smaller too ordering on your photo painful

The scan to order by had glitches trying to order drinks. Frustrating. So staff had to manually order drinks but never asked again by waiter so u list out on crop sales

I frequently visit Okami at 2 locations in Victoria when I'm travelling. We sat outside it was a great location much quieter than indoors - the Okami is set in a suburb spot at gorgeous Cronulla. However the Tempura (which is usually a favourite) wasn't Tempura batter at all - it was heavy and more like fish and chip batter (very disappointing). The steak cubes are usually very good, but they were a little tough and overcooked. It may have just been an "off" night - as they were very busy, with people cueing to get in. The service was good.

I love food, I like waitresses, very nice atmosphere. We will be back 😀
