great service, excellent food, only drawback is the choice of foods are quite limited. recommend adding more sashimi, shrimp sashimi and less about rice and filters.

Really delicious meal. All you can eat of your Japanese favourites. Prawn gyozas, takoyaki, tempura and heaps more. Really lovely service. The only thing I would say was a little awkward is the sitting times. 5:15 is quite early for me for dinner and 7:45 starts to be a bit late. Still a really enjoyable meal though!

It was our first time in Okami. We loved it! The service was quick and very friendly. The food was delicious. Great value for $32! The restaurant was completely full however the service remained steady and quality remained high.

Terrible. Shown to our seat and took 15 mins to get a menu. Some of our food never arrived, even after asking 3 times. Served warm beer. Food very average. Never again.

Great service, good food and charming company. Splendid time had by all! Second trip to Okami. Must try beef carpacchio, Teriyaki beef, squid salad and sesame seed ice cream.

Delicious food with great service. Highly recommend the tempura and katsu chicken. Another favourite was the karrage but the best overall was the sashimi - must have!

Always amazing food and atmosphere at Footscray Okami. It's hard to choose a favorite because they are all so good. Will defintly enjoy coming back here.

We really enjoy Japanese food, and they are good at it, especially the seaweed salad, teriyaki steak, gyoza, egg plant salad, miso soup, prawns teriyaki, sushi and sashimi.

Definitely book in as when we arrive the restaurant was empty but quickly filled up about 10 mins later. The food was average but alright for a buffet

It was a very pleasant experience and the food was lovely. Other patrons were possibly a bit loud as they were drunk, and its a shame you won't split bills... Not even in half as we were two couples and would have made life at the end of the experience much nicer than myself having to pay for the whole evening.

We enjoyed the food, the service is ok, we got good service from some and not from some, but overall it was a pleasant experiece. We do feel like the restaurant need more staff

A group of 6 of us had dinner on Saturday night (3 adults/3 kids). The food was great, friendly and helpful service and good a value buffet. Lots of alternative options for kids who aren’t into sushi or sashimi.

Absolutely Delicious food!!!. Service was good. Could have been better being we did miss several of our dishes but the warm hospatality of the Waiters and Waitresses more then made up for it. Would definitely recommend and Will be back!!!

Good food at reasonable prices Have been returning every couple of weeks, the venue is a little small but that adds to the atmosphere, pleasent waiters and food as fresh as any other more expensive Japanese restaurant I have been to highly recommended.

We have been there for the first time and we'll be back! The food and service are outstanding, everything is cooked to order. You won't get easily filled as like in rsl type buffet where all the food is greasy so you get a good deal for your buck. Highly recommending!

THEY WERE VERY BUSY , GOT THE ORDERS MIXED UP, SOME THINGS CAME OVERCOOKED. HAVE BEEN 4 TIME AND IT WAS VERY GOOD. DISSAPOINTING THIS TIME

Great selection for all you can eat menu however slow service on sushi and sashimi though. Would recommend and great value for special occasions versus some other buffet restaurants in Melbourne.

All you can eat Japanese at okami is super good value and all fresh delicious dishes! Love their sashimi and sushi platters and the takoyaki are so good!

We were seating quite quickly. A waitress approached us within the first 10 mins. It was clean and the food was good. The only downside is the food took a bit long to come but lovely experience nonetheless :)

Food was very good. Beef carpaccio (tataki) was excellent. Tempura batter was a bit average. Service was okay apart from the fact they forgot a couple of things we had ordered. Will go back again.

A buffet with table service - fantastic! Food was of a very high quality, perfect portion sizes, and a friendly service. I'm now a repeat customer!

Great value and variety. Staff were prompt and polite. Ice creams (except for vanilla) weren't unlimited though. Best to go in larger groups and during less crowded times.

Food was pretty good. Very affordable for an All You Can Eat place, however the servings are quite small compared to other locations and thus I had to constantly keep ordering more dishes. Personally I didn't like the music playlist but that's just my personal preference. Was planning to stay for 30minutes to 1hr but due to small servings and waiting time for dishes to come out we ended up staying for 1hr 30mins to get full. But service was great and staff was very friendly and was not annoyed that I kept calling them to order more. They were very fast and efficient. Overall a great, affordable place to eat!

Great food, great place. The wait staff can sometimes be a bit intimidating and every time I picked up the menu, I felt rushed to make a decision. Despite all this, they were very friendly. Would go back

First time to come in here was nit sure what to do. 6adults altogether and we kinda order one thing at the time which was a bad choice.. because food are made when u order it take a while before youll receive it. However food was really good and the staff was super nice.. will come back again for sure
