Like I said about this place in my last review, hit and miss! When you think you’re going to give them one last chance they deliver. Invited a group for dinner last night to OKAMI’s in Footscray and it was one of the best visits. Food was sensational as always, service and timing was spot on. A call to Soneil who managed our table and was extremely friendly and reliable. What a treat, more than happy to continue taking my groups to this location.

Terrible service. We were ignored by wait staff and our food did not come out. We were told when we finally got attention of staff that there was an issue with the order printer but tables around us were having their food come out and ours didn't even though we had put in the order for sushi twice. The food was okay, but not good enough to make up for the rest of the night

Food was great as usual but this was probably my worst visit, food was late despite being the first people there that ordered and everyone seemed to getting there food first, they kept bringing half the food that was ordered out and then when I had informed them what was occurring they said yes it’s coming but never came out. The staff seemed to be hiding in the back most of the time and would only come out to deliver the food when it came available. I was very embarrassed with the group that I had with me this time and was shocked with the staff and the food not coming out as ordered. I love the food and as usual it’s proven to be a hit and Miss, especially when it’s a big group as I normally have.

Ordered food never received it was a 2 hour all U can eat and we where sitting for at least 30mins with no food we just left won't be going back there

The tables were sticky and dirty. Chairs were very ripped and uncomfortable. There was much confusion between 2 staff members about ordering dessert and we received more alcohol than we ordered. There were only a couple of waiters on the floor and the one who looked after us was rude and dismissive, constantly pointing us to the ordering IPAD and ignoring us the rest of the evening. The food was poorly prepared with the meat courses very, very tough We will NEVER come back for a family party to this Footscray store.

Great as always. Surrounding customers were a bit loud and perhaps more noticeable than normal as we there were only 5 tables full in the restaurant and we were seated directly next to 2 of those tables. (Notwithstanding there was room to space people out more - perhaps there are reasons not to do this I am not aware of).
