Okami - Hoppers Crossing

At the start of our sitting the service was very slow but when nearing the end of our sitting were hurried by the workers to finish up and we couldn’t order any more food. Won’t go back.

Very enjoyable visit, great food, great service and reasonably priced.

Best okami we’ve been to so far. Good is the same as the other ones we’ve been too but these guys take orders and deliver food much quicker then the rest.

We had our first dining experience tonight and all five of us were extremely happy with the food, service and value. The staff were all very polite and very quick. We look forward to our next visit.

Food was good, it was hard to enjoy when there was no air circulation in the restaurant and it was busy on a warm day.

We went on a night when there were many birthdays happening with plenty of patrons but the service and wait time for food and drinks was exceptional. All staff were polite and helpful and the food was great.

Service was faster than our last visit. Food was good but not enough Tuna.

The food and service was good for a Buffet, But not sure why they they would impose a limit on Ice Cream and Softdrink was not included in the Buffet price, since these are both so cheap in the Supermarket.

Always a great time at Okami, Hoppers Crossing. Food's great, value for money, service is always good, even when they're busy. Only minus for this visit was that we were surrounded with families with infants and toddlers, all of whom were quite noisy at the same time. Can empathise with parents, as we had small ones at one stage. But we were surrounded by at least 3 babies, who were all not really happy being there today. But not the restaurant's fault, just luck of the draw this visit.

Booking was quick and easy. The restaurant and staff were well presented, friendly and helpful. The food was brought out quite quickly and was of great quality.

Kelly our hostess and the others were all equally very attentive to us. That’s why we always keep coming back once a fortnight at least.

We were seated underneath the air-conditioner which was on too cold. The food was coming out warm/cold side and then once the air-conditioner went on it our food was always cold.

All the cooked meats were way overcooked ie. Chicken karaage, Katsu and tepanyaki beef. Everything else was great.

We had a large group and it was difficult for us to keep track of who ordered what. The food came out promptly and was consistent in its delivery, but because of our meal selection issue, sometimes there was a long wait for a specific dish, not knowing someone else had claimed/eaten it. The issue was ours as the dining party AND NOT THE RESTAURANT. The staff was very accommodating, willing to check back over past orders to see what was still due on the table and what had already been delivered. We will 100% dine again, maybe in a smaller group next time though.
