Okami - Mornington

I had not been to Okami before so I was looking forward to it. The food was delicious however we had to continually follow up o the dishes we ordered

Food was fresh, and service was spot on, the staff where friendly and nothing was to hard to accommodate.

Slow service. Had to ask for an item 4 times. Waited 40 minutes then left without getting it. Still charged full price. Regular customer, won’t be back.

As I have been to the restaurant many times I knew the menu, so ordered right as I sat down. We arrived at 7pm, ordered at 7:05pm. Waited around 15 minutes for the first part of the order, but not sushi. The sushi arrived at 8pm. A hour after we ordered it. I noticed other tables didnt get any either for the same amount of time. All other foods came out at a reasonable time however. The sushi was delicious, but a hour wait is ridiculous.

Lovely food, quick service although very loud restaurant and partner got a headache and we had to leave early

Food was great but the service was disjointed and a bit disappointing. Some food arrived very quick, other items arrived almost 45 minutes after we ordered it. Our chicken wings never even arrived. We asked waiters/waitresses for water about 5-6 times before we finally received some. We were not provided with one of the table flags for requesting service like most other tables around us had. I also noted several other dinners in the area having to request plates.and cutlery several times before they received them, and several dinners leave because they were waiting too long for their food orders to arrive.

Employees seemed a little overwhelmed. It was really hard to get their attention to order. Waited quite some time before being able to put order through. We were in a booth in the corner and overlooked compared to other tables. Finally recieved some water after 1 hour but no cups :-(

Think they forgot at lease 50% of the meals and had to continually remind them what was still to come. Not enough staff to service the restaurant. Close to my worst experience at Okami but for the one in Dromana which is an absolute piss take !

Crowded, noisy and long wait for service. Teriyaki steak burnt and tough. Although we only had four half serves, one beer and one corkage, bill was $90.94. Not value for money. Will not return

10/10 amazing place to eat and enjoy with friends

Service was particularly slow for food to be brought to our table and it took 50 minutes for my husbands beer to be served. We left feeling very full and food was great.

It was too busy for the staff. It took us an hour to get ice cream

Food was served quickly for the first round, we almost finished and drinks were not delivered and we had to remind them. after that nobody came to ask if we needed to order more food, we had to get up and look for the waitress, also a beer we didn't ask was served, this was removed after we told waiter about it but when paying, the beer was added to the bill, after we complained it was removed, overall not a pleasant experience.

We were disappointed that a number of items we ordered were never delivered. Even simple things. Had to keep reminding the staff. Spoilt the evening.

the food was good but the service was very poor, we waited a few minutes at the host stand before we were acknowledged, then when we were sat after 10 mins someone came by to take our order, there was no greeting now asking if we had been there before, after she took our food we said we’ll order drinks but she just walked off rudely , another server had to take our drink order, no apology given either, very poor service staff did not look like they wanted to be there, disappointing, ice cream was horrible icy and had seperated

We chose to sit outside and noticed that because it was raining and we where the only ones outside under cover of corse, We had two rounds of food both times found it hard to get the staffs attention and missed out on the desserts due to no workers outside

Couldn’t get any food. The place was very busy and I presume short staffed but the staff only came to our table twice and we had to wait for ages. The food we did get was nice but just very sparse.
