OKAMI - Wantirna

We love OKAMI, it was Father’s Day so a little busy. Great to get the big table at the front of the restaurant. A little away from the hustle and bustle. But it was busy of course and slower than usual.

Fast and friendly service with great food and lovely company

They would benefit from relocating to a larger venue, as the tables were placed too closely together, making it difficult to hold a proper conversation with friends at my table.

Staffs is friendly and foods is great and price is good.

The food and service was great. We were just disappointed at the end when after waiting thirty minutes and three or four check-ins with wait staff that our final order did not arrive.

Wide choices of food with typical dishes plus some extras. Food plentiful. Tempura was a little disappointing though as was the featured wagyu dish. Some dishes not available. Service prompt and efficient throughout the visit. Family friendly. A good option for a tasty family meal with choices to suit everyone.

Worth every dime. Went home with a full stomach. Really good food.

Excellent dining experience. They knew it was my birthday month without stating at time of booking and was well looked after.

from the time my partner and i walked in we were greated with a warm welcome and taken to our seats sat down and was told about there beautiful broth soup for a starter ...definitely dont miss out on that wow !!! what a killer dish to start the night ....then we tryed to gracfully eat all the dishes we wanted with chop sticks for the first time haahaha ,to our suprise absalutely everything was delicious ,not one horrible thing to eat at all , everything come out served with a smile, and super quick specially on a friday night ....highly recommend this place if your wanting a cheap all you can eat night out

the restaurant was a bit noisy this time and the service was slow. it was a full restaurant but things did not come out together or we would order more while still waiting for the first round of food

it can be hard serving a larger table with so many orders. we did have a long wait time between ordering and receiving the food but once the good started coming, it was great. the food was fresh and still hot. had a great night

Food and service was great. Chairs were a little low though, and hard to get up for an older person with knee issues. Otherwise no complaints, have been numerous times, great value and food tastes great.

Food arrived immediately. All the food options we chose wore fresh and delicious. Service was prompt and staff wore all friendly.

It is really wonderful food, almost as good as being in Japan

I haven't been in a while and the new(ish) ordering process on an iPad is very efficient and orders come pretty quick. The sesame ice cream, my old time favourite now comes in a cardboard cup and I didn't enjoy the the new taste at all. Everything else was just yummi and seemed of reasonable quality. Thank you

Fantastic dining experience at Okami Wantirna. The food was all very delicious, fresh, and well presented, and the service was very efficient. The ordering process with the iPad was brilliant and most of the food came out very quickly, some were almost instantaneous!. We had to take the iPad off the kids or else they would keep ordering. I counted that we ordered over 30 entrees/mains dishes, 15 ice creams!. Definitely got our money's worth. Thanks team at Okami Wantirna, see you again soon.

Love Okami! Their food is delicious and reasonably priced, and their customer service is excellent. Was even busy (& noisy) on a Monday night!

For dessert we had 1 fish cake and we asked for another one but they said it’s only 1 per person. I think it’s wrong to refuse it as a lot of tables asked for ice cream. She could have done an exception as the client is king. Very disappointing.

Amazingly tasty food as always. Bit disappointed in paying $10 corkage cause I brought my own bottle of wine! I didn’t get an ice bucket and I poured my own, so I was effectively charged $10 to use your wine glass - not good 😔

Considering the unusally busy night the restaurant hadn't expected. The staff handled our big booking pretty well. The food dit not come out too delayed and the staff kept their cool under very pressured conditions. We thank you very much, our daughter and her friends had a great time!

Atmosphere was absolutely lovely! The food was also incredibly delicious, 10/10 will go again!
