The service was wonderful - couldn't be faulted. The food was great and there were plenty of vegetarian options. The only issue we had (and it's not just this branch), is the noise level/ambience. It's sort of like a cafeteria atmosphere ... very noisy. It's still a good change from most restaurants.

Easy to book. Great food. Not a fan of bring a phone out at the table, to order. Takes away the Chatting catch up experience.

I have visited this establishment multiple times and have never encountered any issues, with the food and service being consistently excellent. However, on this occasion, each dish that was presented was not up to the usual high standard. The honey soy spicy chicken was lukewarm to the touch. Some of the prawns were excessively moist, suggesting that they may not have been properly thawed, and the tails had been removed from the inferior ones. The beef capi, which is typically thinly sliced rare beef, was literally crumbling and could not be picked up. The chicken in the rice was charred and appeared to have been cooked in a dirty pan, as evidenced by the black char coating, which was inconsistent with the usual preparation of the honey soy spicy chicken. The fried chicken consisted of small, overcooked pieces. We normally stay for the entire duration, but on this occasion, we departed after approximately an hour. I hope that this was simply an off night and not indicative of a decline in quality. 😬

Food was great! I am heavily pregnant and unfortunately was sat next to a table of judgy people. We booked for hubby's birthday and also to fulfil pregnancy cravings so I took advantage of the all you can eat. It was disheartening that the table next to us made comments and gasps everytime I ate whilst looking me up and down. I left crying. I know this wasn't the restaurants fault however it did greatly impact the experience. I was too worried to make a scene by asking staff for assistance.

A very memorable experience for our family. I had never been to an Okami before and was worried it may be a little crowded and difficult to access for those with mobility issues, however I was very pleasantly surprised how spacious and accessible it was. We could hear each other clearly and love the idea of being able to share dishes (as you choose). The leisure of just adding to order on the app as you fill your bellies is very good, so no need to guess how much you might eat. As long as you don't leave leftovers (extra charge). I like this as do not like to see wasted food. We took my father out of nursing home for this dinner so was a very special family time, and he was able to eat his favourite seafood. All dishes of exceptional quality, with the attentiveness that you tend to get with authentic Japanese dining. Of course servers may be of all cultural backgrounds, but whatever is happening in the kitchen is exceptional, without feeling the pressure of fancy dining.

It was amazing, the kids meal was disappointing as the stuff on top of the rice the kids wouldn’t eat it. Still we ordered other rice and chicken for them.wouldn’t order them again. All the food fresh hot and delicious. 8 people and we all said we would come back. It also was Mother’s Day evening so very busy but service was amazing as well as they put our cake in fridge for later . Thanks to all staff 👍

The food was great, taste was amazing! However, as it was my first time experiencing Okami it was very confusing as nothing was explained on arrival, as we had multiple people on our table we had to ask for a menu so everyone could see what food was available then had to ask again how we order, there was no directions on the table or staff to not explain. Also when I made the inline booking there was no mention of lunch closing time so we were rushed out after an hour of arriving so did not get to enjoy the full experience

Love the food each and every time we come, my kids love it as well , they are grown up now, I would rather go here than anywhere else , best food around.

Overall, it was good, but paying $10 corkage for 1 bottle of wine is very excessive. Prices on the menu seem to go up every time we done there.

Food took far too long to come out and when it did come out it was in dribs and drabs and certainly not in sizes for a five person sitting, the new ordering system on the qrcode is horrible, unreliable and inefficient, and we didn’t get offered menus so we could all see the menu. It has definitely put me off returning

We had a seating booked for 8:00pm as this was the only time available through the booking app. Food was extremely slow to come out and we had to ask several times in relation to some orders not coming at all. Staff began mopping the floors including around and under us and placing all chairs up on the tables. Staff standing around flicking through their phones and generally making us feel like we needed to leave. We brought this to the attention of our waitress and again with the manager once paying either no real concern or apology. We will definitely not return.

Great Dining experience, only issue is hard to keep track of what has been ordered with a large group of people and what is still to come before ordering more.
