Porkies BAR-B-QUE

The staff greeted us promptly at the door. All the staff had smiles on their faces and were very friendly. The racks were amazing as were the choice of sides. The food came out in great time but the cooking was not compromised. And the pie selection was the best. We took home different ones to try. Great for a casual, homestyle atmosphere. This was our first time at Porkies and we will definitely be back.

the music was loud as not many people at the time we visited. also the entre arrived then immediately after out dinner arrived.

Great American BBQ place set in a really cool casual themed restaurant. The food is really good and come with sauces on the platters and on the tables. Service is amazing and wait staff are super friendly.

My son and I have celebrated our birthdays at Porkies many times and always enjoyed it. However, during our visit this evening, the ribs were cold and too dry. My son brought three friends to celebrate his birthday, so I didn’t want to make a fuss and just quietly ate and left. I hope this was just a one-off, as we’ve always had great experiences in the past.

The staff is nice, food served quick after we ordered, the portion is enough for feed hungry tummy 😁, price is affordable and the important one is yuuummmm. The ribs is juicy and tender, the burger is yum with pickled jalapeno, the chicken also yumm. We brought home some leftover too. The only thing is they don't serve grilled corn cob but corn bread. But overall food was beautiful, thank youuu

Porkies is the bomb. We love it and have never had a bad meal or service. I morally need a fork lift to carry me home. Do yourself a favour and try the place out! Casual easy fun and just a happy place to eat Great food

The pork ribs had hardly any meat on them just mainly bones.The beef ribs were over cooked and tough & too much unwanted sauces on the meat. The chicken breast was tender and juicy.The burnt ends were tasty but they were drowning in sauce that we didn’t ask for.I was trying to wipe off the sauces so I could taste the meat!!And the seats are very uncomfortable !

We both loved the food selections. We sampled six different meats and four sides. Then we tried two desserts. Loved it all and some to take home. Nice smoke and very tender.

The staff were all so lovely! Customer service was absolutely on point and everyone was very warm and welcoming. However, food was not very impressive. We ordered the $80 sampler. The pork ribs and brisket were very dry and those were the two things we were most excited about. Definitely not worth the $80 we spent. However, the staff really made the experience better and were quite lovely to be around.

We will be back. Great experience for the first time visit.

I expect that a restaurant should be inviting. So on a cold day outside there should be some airconditioning to warm the place up, Drinks were ordered and wait times of up to 20 minutes. Having one person to wait on 30 diners is very poor.

Great atmosphere and really lovely staff. Only suggestion would be a little more seasoning in the Mac and cheese and maybe a light glaze on the ribs before plating. Key lime pie base absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back again.

Food was nice, brisket was a bit cold. Service wasn’t amazing, we had to ask for the kids juice/ice cream. Staff were friendly though.

Had an amazing time. The whole team was quite great, special mentione to Rhihanna who was amazing and seemed to know what we needed before we could even ask. She was so nice and efficient. Looking forward to revisiting the restaurant very soon.

Everything was good, apart from where we were seated. We were seated near the front door, under an open window. There were people sitting at a table just outside who were smoking. The cigarette smoke and smell were coming inside, as there is no window to shut (it's just an open window that gets covered at night). It was actually very unpleasant to have people sitting and smoking outside, as the smoke was coming into the restaurant.

I have been coming here for years, and the quality of the food and service is always on point. You get great-priced combo choices or you can just order the parts you want the most. There deep fried mac and cheese and rice are unreal side and you can not go past their cornbread. Highly recommend!

The portion sizes are too big. That's the only negative thing I can say☺️ The food and service is fantastic as always.

The food was warm, not hot, not freshly made. Even the chips weren't hot. The meats weren't tender and moist as you'd expect. We refused to try the sauces (tomato, bbq, mustard) on the table because they were so watery. The cherry pie was delicious!!!! Perhaps if the ribs etc had been heated in a steam oven they might have been more moist.

We were greeted in a friendly manner & order instructions given clearly. The food was absolutely delicious, lots of options & exactly what you’d expect from a barbecue restaurant. We were offered takeaway containers (without having to ask) for our food. Kids enjoyed the free refill option. My husband was in heaven with Coors on tap. A great night out & highly recommend.

Food was great. My only concern was the scollap potato was luke warm.
