There are many Italian places around Sydney, mostly concentrated around the ethnic enclaves of Leichhardt and Norton Street. Product of Italy stands some 50km away from that hub, in the western suburb of Penrith, but seeing as they’re all on the other side of the world from actual Italy, 50km is nothing in authenticity stakes. Product of Italy on Henry Street can rightly claim the lineage from the old country, with a menu that takes in traditional pizzas, topped with a homemade Napoli sauce and gourmet pizzas, which are that little bit more upmarket, with ingredients that recall the classics of Italian cuisine, such as shaved Parmesan, Italian sausage, extra virgin olive oil and more. Ally to these a range of pastas, salads, desserts and drinks and you’re in for a top quality meal: just remember to book a table ahead of time.
Service was quick, our waiter pleasant, all staff very nice actually, food was full of flavour, child friendly too, the fact there were alot of people arriving proved it's a popular place to eat, great for a quick dinner before moving on 😊
Prompt and friendly service, meals were delicious and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking across the road- beware if you stay over 3hrs there is a parking fee. I’ll definitely be back!
The experience was a positive one. The food was 10/10 and the service was good. My Wife and I will definitely return for another delicious experience.
