Wonderfully friendly & professional staff, a relaxed exotic atmosphere and sensational food make Raj On Taj our favourite Indian cuisine restaurant in Adelaide. My wife and I toured India in 2018 but never enjoyed our meals as much as we do at the Raj. Congratulations to all involved on Tuesday 11/6/2024. Greg & Rosalie, Torrens Park, SA.

The food was excellent. The service was not. Staff were not focussed on the dining customers. We had to wave to them to get service mamy times and even then reluctance followed. Happy to discuss. Karen

Food was delicious as usual, but wait times were a lot longer than usual and service was not as good, think they had a few new staff members, hopefully that was the reason, other than that we had a fun evening.

The restaurant decorations were so beautiful and service was good, however a photographer kept using the strobe flashing just next to our table to take food photos ... was so annoyed and after the 10 min patience I asked her to do somewhere else. But she still kept using flashing in the restaurant, moreover they took our food photos before they served us which means it was not hot enough when they brought the dishes to us. Very disappointed and after we went back home our eyes were still effected by the strobe.. unfortunately we won’t be back there.

the guy who served us provided excellent service. When we were ordering he pointed out that one of the dish that we ordered contain chilli (this was great as we had little kids with us) so we were able to change to another dish without the chilli to share with the kids. We ordered a soft drink for the kids to share, the service guy offered to pour them into 2 smaller glasses, so the children can have their own glass. We really appreciate how thoughtful he was. There was a small error made on the bill, but once I pointed out this was corrected immediately After the meal, children were delightly suprised to be offered some chocolate from the same service staff after we settle the bill. The food was nice, and we would definitely go back especially after receiving such good service from the same service staff.
