Delicious food and great service. An awesome addition to Brunswick
Thank you Bella for looking after us so well, incredible service, amazing food. Must book restaurant and becoming a Brunswick establishment :)
Delicious food, lovely wine, moderately priced for the banquet option and Aymen the waiter was very charismatic and welcoming. Great date night out :~)
One of our favourite restaurants to visit. Staff are always incredible and the tasting menu is out of this world!
Rascal was excellent. The flavours of each of the dishes we had were great - each of the accompanying sauces quite different and special. Desert was also lovely. The wine list was extensive & catered to all tastes - and budgets! The total cost of just over $300 for 4 people (including 2 bottles of wine) was very reasonable. Service was efficient but not overly friendly. Ambience was very good. A highly recommend from me.
Great food, good wine list and friendly wait staff. A great addition to Sydney Road
Beautiful food and good service, lovely atmosphere too. Disappointing last drinks were at 11
Loved it. Great service, great food, great wine and lovely staff
Food delicious and wine list excellent. We did the Rascal menu for $65 and we were surprised at the amount of food! Service was also excellent. A great addition to Brunswick!
Went for lunch on Saturday. Great experience and good food.
Great food, great service. Awful music and not the most comfortable booths. Overall a nice evening; we will come back next time we are in Melbourne
My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at Rascal for our latest anniversary. The space is very sophisticated, we loved the low lighting and feature walls. Our waitress was cool and knowledgable. The wine selection was very intriguing and we chose a great bottle of Austrian Pinot Blanc. We did the Rascal menu - which was a perfect amount of food and some really standout dishes. Loved the use of nuts throughout the menu in various forms, and the flavours were also very interesting and modern, like cauliflower with tamarind, lamb neck with smoked potato. For me, the highlight was the carrot dish and the desserts, which had complex savoury notes that I thoroughly enjoyed. Very enjoyable, will visit again!
It was a very nice experience. Nice wine and delicious food.
Lets start with a waiter’s hair caught on fire! In the middle our waiter then didn’t explain the menu correctly. Then finish with not remembering all the dishes ordered from memory 🙄 and no offer of dessert. All of which is disappointing as the food was delicious.
Fabulous, beautiful food, with great wine suggestions to pair with the dishes. Boulavardier on the standard cocktail menu is a great plus!
Staff are lovely. Food was good, I would revisit. .
Amazing food, great cocktails, easily best restaurant in Brunswick! Put on your regular list!
Delicious range of shared plates, friendly and knowledgable wait staff, good spacing between tables, reasonable prices - a great addition to the Brunswick scene.
Pleasant Sunday evening, with good food. Interesting cocktail selection for the evening also.
The food was excellent, if a bit pricey for me. The service was friendly, but they forgot our 1st drink order, and took at least 10 mins with the 2nd. We had the set menu; it seemed that some of the tasting plates came out at once, maybe to suit the kitchen rather than the guests.
Food was incredible. Lovely atmosphere and service excellent - much needed on Sydney road!!
We had a wonderful night out, the food was amazing, service was excellent. Will definitely be back.
Great venue, great food, really recommend it. My only notes of caution are if you’re on a budget keep track of the ‘would you like bread, olives, oysters...’ I assumed these were all questions that would affect what went into my $65 menu when they were actually charged on top of that. Other than that, fabulous venue, will def be back.
What an amazing experience!! One of the best meals I've had this year, staff were excellent and the drinks selection had everything I would ever want. I did the $65 degustation and every dish was stand out, but I especially enjoyed the asparagus and pear dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed the boulevardier and happily ended my evening with a japanese whisky. Super happy I can now walk to a cosy wine bar with great food!!
Wonderful food, wonderful hospitality. Thanks Tatiana for making the birthday celebrations that much nicer!
Great service and great wine pairing suggestions! Well priced for the quality you get. Guys took really good care of our dietary requirements. Will be back!!
We really enjoyed our night out here. Will definitely return.
Good vibe, great service, and tasty food at reasonable prices if you know what to pick. I’m keen to try desserts next time.
Good vibe, food was great and staff friendly. Not cheap but that could have been the alcohol. Michael Reardon
The cocktails were weak, the beer kegs were broken/tap beer unavailable, and the $12 salami platter comprised approximately 12 pieces of salami each the size of a 20 cent coin. The spectrum of flavour for salami is too narrow to attempt to use the quality as justification for the insufficient quantity served, especially given salami purchased from Woolies tasted better. Also, there was no follow up from staff. $40 wasted.
Great new addition to Sydney Road, delicious, innovative, fun, welcoming.
