Offering a unique blend of authentic Thai tastes and exquisite western dining options, Roxby Thai Bar & Grill on South Street is a reliable bet if you’re looking to please a whole horde of divergent palates in or around O’Connor and Perth’s southern suburbs. Roxby Thai Bar & Grill is elegant but casual and also well suited to a private, romantic dinner – though even if you’re dining in a small group it’s wise to book a table well ahead of time, because Roxby is a local favourite and you’re unlikely to catch them at a quiet moment!
Handily located right on South Street between O’Connor and Samson, Roxby Thai Bar & Grill is a popular go-to for those who can’t quite decide what they’re in the mood for before they arrive. Sure, on one hand this is one of Perth’s best value Thai eateries, with a full range of traditional classics and modern creations done well, from fish cakes and golden money bags to tom yum, papaya salad, a sizzling satay plate and an amazing ‘fish on fire’ chef’s special featuring fresh barramundi, granny smith apples and cashew nuts in a unique concoction.
However, Roxby Thai Bar & Grill offers a lot more to O’Connor residents and visitors than their tasty Thai delicacies. This South Street special is also a killer burger joint, with several irresistible optiosn you’ll struggle to match anywhere in Perth like their truffle crumbed chicken or blue cheese steak. We’re not even going to start on Roxby’s famous towering sundaes, either, because we’ll start drooling before we can even finish saying flavours like lychee layers, Black Forest mud cake with mixed berries, crushed Tim Tams with dinner mint pieces...
Great food and service. One of the best steaks I've had in a while and it was half price on tuesday and wednesday. That was a bonus
We enjoyed a family Sunday night dinner with delish food and drinks and super friendly and welcoming staff. Will be back next week for sure.
Great menu selection of grill plus Thai style offerings. Lovely surroundings and ambience. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to visiting them again when they relocate to Riverton.
