Great food, atmosphere, friendly staff, range of drinks, easy parking and my favourite table near the front window!!

We often visit Royal Thai, the food and service is great. Food is good value for money. The satay sauce is delish! Husband gets red duck curry every time and it’s always good. A great North Hobart restaurant that you don’t usually need to book to get into.

Food is delicious and the service is beyond reproach. Atmosphere is pleasant and quiet

The new menu is great - a nice mix of some traditional dishes and some newer ones with a modern take on Thai food. Also an extensive list of vegetarian options. Pleasant space, not too noisy. Attentive staff.

Friendly staff and tasty foods, also a great place for groups. However could be more considerate in regards to the table seatings arrangement. It’s a hot day in summer, but we’ve been allocated in a long table beside the windows (without any interior blinds) which is pretty uncomfortable and warm for the hour (don’t think the air conditioner is on). Just a minor room for improvement :) it’s definitely worth a go!

When we arrived we were made to feel at home and the waitress filled our glasses with water. We shared the seafood fried rice and a wonderful beef dish. The meat melted in our mouths, the vegetables were fresh and not overcooked and the prawns in the rice were perfect. The meal was so tasty we shall definitely be going back and would recommend Royal Thai to our friends and family. 10/10

Delicious meal, we had banquet and all the options were things everyone liked, some banquets elsewhere I have found there are dishes that no one really likes, but you are stuck with the set menu. Excellent service. Definitely go back.

We were early as we had a 3 year old. The staff were very good with us and our granddaughter. Very pleasant time was had by all.

Family of six people dined here last week and all ordered different meals with three different appetisers as well. Everyone enjoyed their very tasty meal. Service was very good and waitress was very polite. We dined here in December and will be back again.

A great family Thai restaurant. Efficient service, great food....a little heavy on the chilli side of things but for chilli lovers you will love it..their special house sauce is delicious...a little pricy compared to your standard thai but overall a really lovely dining experience.

Food was stunning tonight! A busy night yet not too long to wait, and staff very attentive! Loved the Thai fish cakes, and the spring rolls and the choice on the menu is first class!

Food was pretty good. We could get parking easily due to the holiday. Staff was a bit stretched for serving but they did pretty well.
