We went there for a birthday celebration of a friend. Atmosphere is good given a long table to accommodate all people. They provided cake stand to cut the cake as well. Food is good. Goat biriyani is very good, lamb vindaloo is also good. Chicken tikka masala is ok ok. Starters are also nice. Kulfi desert is really good.

Have dined there previously. Love the food & staff are great. Thoroughly enjoyed our neal.

We moved into the area a couple of years ago and have visited this place quite a few times since. The food is amazing! It is our go to Indian and can't bring myself to try other Indian restaurants in the area. The whole family love it!

Saffron is always a great experience, I have been there many times. BYO so very good value, and the food and service are excellent.

Food was delicious as always, but service could have been better. I felt sorry for the server that is normally on when we go as she was ran off her feet. Another server seemed to stay at the till. I had taken the empty water bottle and asked for another as not enough for 5 people. I was told to sit down and she would bring another and after about 15mins I had to go and ask if she could give me a bottle of water, as we were still waiting.

We chose Prawn Goan Curry, Aloo Gobhi and Vegetable Biryani. All were delicious, especially the prawns. The house red topped off a lovely meal.

The food was excellent but our our only disappointment was that we were not asked whether we wanted the curry to be hot, medium or mild as we usually are asked in Indian restaurants. The waitress was very helpful apart from that.

A private function was happenning in the back room of the restaurant, which meant the service in the main part of the restaurant was not staffed efficiently. Our main course came after 1 hour of being in the restaurant. There were also lots of meal deliver drivers picking up take out orders. We will not be going back in a hurry,

Service was excellent; menu was extensive with lots of options; food was great; portion sizes were really small (about 8 bites of chicken and a LOT of sauce); and it was quite pricey considering that the plain rice and Pappadums were extra. Won’t rush to go back
