Consistently fantastic food and service!!! My favourite on Chapel Street.

Food was excellent and service was good considering the busy night. We were a party of 7 and all were very happy with the as a collective, hence my comments and would recommend this restaurant.

The food is always exceptionally good. And the service is of the highest standard. I recommend Saigon Rose to others. I hope to be back more often in 2019.

Great food at good prices. The restaurant can get a little noisy at times, but the food makes up for that. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Great night, accomodating for a big group! The food was really delicious and came out very fast and they even put a sparkeler in the cake we brought!

Saigon Rose is one of those fabulous finds that you'll always be glad you visited. Magnificent food, great service and lovely staff. You must, must, must try the Salted Squid - their recipe for the coating is just to die for and the squic is always so fresh that it just melts in your mouth - you'll want a second plate, I guarantee :-)

Great food. Great service. There is a reason this restaurant has been around so long. My vegan friend was well catered for as they had vegan dipping sauces. The staff were very professional and friendly at the same time. The prices were very reasonable. Saigon Rose continues to be my favourite Vietnamese restaurant.

Quick service so easy to plan other activities around dinner. The lunchtime deals look good but haven’t tried them yet. Also it is BYO on Monday to Thursday.

Exceptional food and genuine hospitality. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Victoria. We take our friends, family and overseas guests here for a delicious home-style cooking. Highly recommended.

We are bit disappointed to know that Friday is no BYO as it used to be. Their food is good, so we, wine lovers want to drink our choice of wine with their food.

Lovely food and was great service, the food was very quick to come out. The waiters/waitresses are very nice too. Would go there again definitely recommend!

Excellent food; fresh and generous. My only comment would be that the $10 corkage fee per bottle of wine was steep and the restaurant was quite noisy. However, highly recommended.

I have been coming here as an annual tradition for more than ten years each December when I return from London for a holiday. I can’t imagine a nicer or more friendly restaurant nor one with tastier and more interesting food. As usual the Saigon Rose prawns were out of this world! Thank you!

We got the crispy duck skin on prawn meat. It was incredible. Highly recommended. The stir fried mushroom and veg is also good. Great value for money. It's byo wine as well.

The food and service was great, the restaurant was very loud making it difficult to talk with our friends and family. We really enjoyed the barramundi and soft shell crab.

Good service, but a little slow bringing food out. Waitresses were lovely and attentive. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the crispy duck skin with prawn entree.

Great flavours in the rock ling sizzling plate but everything we had was nothing special. Nice chicken curry but the salt and pepper calamari looked like it was from the frozen food section of the supermarket. Maybe we chose badly but I wouldn't go back.

First time there & loved it. Food was delicious & plenty of it. Excellent service & not rushed to leave - we stayed for a long time as it was a reunion lunch. Best satay chicken skewers, s & p prawns & rice paper rolls. A definite "go to on a regular basis". Only downside - $10 per bottle corkage is excessive.

Have been numerous times before and thought it was great. Went last night and food was average and service was slow. Might have changed owners which would explain our experience. Never going again.

A very nice informal dining experience and byo is a big plus. Light pleasant and fun with prompt and helpful service. The specials were tasty especially the soft shell crab.

Great food, wine and lovely staff! The salmon asparagus spring rolls were a hit, as was the salmon special! I'd definitely head back there soon!

Had pleasant meal here before a show. Attentive waiting staff and large venue with well spaced tables. Two dishes which varied in quality we thought. Chilli prawn dish with beautiful prawns was a little overpowered by sauce. On the other hand a lemongrass chilli chicken dish which was very nice and very well balanced. Good value with a glass of wine.

Been coming to Saigon Rose for years. Consistently good Vietnamese food and good service at reasonable prices. I think we've tried pretty much every Vietnamese restaurant in the area and SR is our go-to.

Dined here in September, just two of us. The food was great as was the service. Pretty good value for money too, we will be back
