Great enjoyed the meal and service will go again. Local
Great atmosphere and fab share plates. Best restaurant on Morn Pen
Food quality is great in a very nice setting. Good wine and beer selection. Quality restaurant at reasonable price.
Love Saint Ernest. It was busy Sat night and the drink service was lacking - we waited a long time to order another drink, but when we served our drinks arrived quickly. Will definitely go back.
The wine & service were exceptional but the food was sadly a bit average. Portion size was small for the price & the combination of flavours & textures didn’t quite work for us.
Sensational food and the best cocktails. What a gem of a place for the Peninsula. The kangaroo was divine...in fact it was all divine. Cant fault it, or the staff. 10 out of 10
Excellent food in a lovely setting. We particularly enjoyed the grilled octopus. Pisco sour cocktail with kefir lime was fresh and delicious. We will be back!
We have eaten here before and the food and cocktails were fantastic but we were sadly disappointed last night. The za’tar, which was meant to have dukah on it had none. Just 4 small pieces of flat bread and 3 pieces of white bread and a bit of tatziki smeared on the plate. The “medium” plate of cauliflower and broccoli had (with no exaggeration) 8 tiny florets on the plate barely cherry size with a few other tiny scattered bits and pieces. Then we had the garfish which again was an extremely small serve of fish. The highlight was the octopus which is the only thing that saved a lower rating being given. This place started out really well and my hope in writing the review is that the standard will go back up to where it was.
Great Menu with fresh ideas and professional, attentive service. Waiters know their wine list and have good recommendations. Situated on a vibrant and funky strip with easy parking. Perfect night out!
We had a most enjoyable dinner . The service was very professional, friendly and efficient . The sharing plates were delicious ! A great addition to Blairgowrie village -Well worth a visit !
Great food, service very good and beverage list was just as good. Busy ... but enough staff available to cope well with the numbers. I'll be going there again.
Amazing- share dishes and order the Barolo . Ben is a fantastic host and the setting is great Wine and food compliment If you are coming in from Melbourne , interstate or overseas just do it Dj
I regularly attend this venue and decided to take the team here for our annual Xmas luncheon. Great service, great team and completely looked after. Bennie and his team are very easy going which I like, the food is excellent, the beer is cold and a quality selection of wines.
A share menu but Limited menu and expensive. Nothing big. Homus creme creche or yougurt with nearly all selections. Coffee was good though... Service ok.
Great service, friendly staff, servings small but worth the cost! Would recommend to anyone. Great wine list and beers and the cocktails looked grouse too.
Food was ok but service felt very rushed. We had food on the table and finished eating 45 minutes after arriving. Lamb cutlets were great.
Nice atmosphere. I just felt wines too expensive. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Egg plant not very tasty too much cream cheese not sure what that was. We al bought one to two dishes each.
The food was superb, it was delicious and interesting. Loved the prawns and mussels, both spectacular dishes. The service was extremely good --- a charming host .... we will be back!!
Great food, but average service. We asked for one share plate to arrive at a time, but instead we were served all our dishes at once. It was less than ideal.
Disappointing, food and service , well below our expectations. Despite pre-booking a table we were greeted in a very offhand manner and directed to sit at stools at the window bench despite available empty tables. When we asked about the empty tables we were reluctantly seated at a table but were left feeling like unwelcome guests. The prawns we started with were delicious but the rest of the meal was below average. We won't go back.
Food was superb. Service excellent. You can not go wrong dining here. They must have an excellent chef because there are always unusual but delicious dishes available.
So disappointed. Had lunch here a few times and it was great. Food good and friendly service. Suggested to some friends we book for dinner. Save your money. Eat at the pub. Another crappy place to eat on the peninsula. Boss was away. Maybe that was the problem.
Four of us enjoyed a lovely night. Food was a wonderful balance of flavours. The swordfish and the wagyu beef were really something. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
A great addition to the local scene, with a well constructed menu of tasty contemporary Australian shareplates, and a suitably short but interesting wine & drinks list. All our meals hit the spot eg fried school prawns, poached salmon special. The salad and carrot dishes were great. Service was also good after a patchy start when our confirmed reservation caused a few anxious moments because there were no tables available. $195 for four including a glass of wine each and coffees. We’ll be back.
We had 8 dishes for the 4 of us and this was ample. There was only one dish out of the 8 that we would not order again. The wine & beer was awesome and the atmosphere was devine
Sharing plates were delicious, love the fresh flavours . Wine choices and cocktails great. Dined several times now and really enjoyed each visit. Wait staff are friendly and very ,helpful. Parking easy out the front. Highly Recommended. Bit chill See you again soon.
What a fabulous place. Had a wonderful night..good company, great food and yummy wine The service was excellent...the carrot dish was delicious Would definitely recommend Saint Ernest
Service was a little slow on arrival as it was the busy time but the food mor tha made up for it as it was fantastic
Food great.Table too small for share plates and service a little slow. It was cold inside, during middle of winter, would be great during summer.
Wonderful grazing style food including superb duck and polenta, salt cod arancini and lovely clean green and red salads. Don’t miss the Montalto Pinot Noir Reserve. Class food and bar venue meets chilled Blairgowrie crowd. Amongst the very best in the area, check it out
Our table of 4 enjoyed our delicious lunch.....we shared our plates....Beef cheek was a favourite. Wine and cocktail menu are great......service was friendly and we will be back.
Delicious food, great service. Great cocktails (originals and classics). Menu was quite seasonal - we had a mixture from the menu and specials and all were excellent.
Terrific atmosphere on a cold Saturday night. Food was fantastic, delicious and plentiful, we had the beef cheek, lamb shoulder duck and swordfish as share plates but could easily have ordered them as individual serves. Sadly only one dessert option but overall great food.
SERVICE A BIT SLOW MENU AND FOOD NEEDS A LITTLE MORE DETAIL THE FRONT DOOR NEEDS TO BE CLOSED ,A BIG DRAFT DURING WINTER THE RESERVATION WORKED LIKE A CHARM
It was very busy the night we had dinner. The staff seemed to be unorganised rather than one person look after us we had about three and that caused us and them some confusion when it came to ordering and waiting too long for drink service. The food was very good but the menu has not changed since our first visit - maybe time for an update.
