If you’re going before a show go extra early. We waited over an hour for our food and the quality wasn’t great

Great cosy restaurant. Enjoyed a delicious dinner and a friendly atmosphere before the show at The National theatre across the road.

It was a perfect place to have a pre show dinner. Food was delicious, there were some great choices on the menu, and service was good. I would go back

They knew we were due to go to the theatre opposite. The service for our pizzas was very slow. The hot pizza had to be eaten so quickly I burnt my mouth.

Great bar we had the Greek meat platter very happy with it great value for money the meat was cooked perfect. Thanks

The server was confused when serving our drinks - couldn't remember the names of the drinks to be able to give them to the correct person. Otherwise, it was wonderful.

Great place for a casual dinner pre-show. Has a nice, relaxed ambience.

Very friendly, accomodating service - drinks were fine, and my GF pizza was quite nice (bit much cheese but flavour combo was yum).

love the location for attending the theatre and the pizzas were amazing! the trio of dips would be the best dips I've had in a long time!

After 15 minutes we had to ask for a menu and request drinks. The mixed meat dish was very average (lacking flavour, poor quality fatty meat)

It was OK, more convenient for the National Theatre than a place to specifically go.

On a quiet week night, we had the best table, right in the open door. Service was great and food was delicious, with generous servings. A peaceful place to dine before the theatre, just steps away from hectic, crowded Ackland St.

Pre show dinner with my Mum and the service was impeccable. Our meals were delicious. Highly recommend. This was our second time here and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to the staff for their hospitality.

Food was nice. Service was slow. It was difficult to get a coffee from one waitress but another finally got one for us. Not sure the issue.

Great food and service and reasonable prices. They didn’t mind we were 15 mins earlier than booked. In a hurry at end to get to theatre so kindly offered to put coffees in take away cups. Nice atmosphere with comfy cushions on seats. Hope to go back!

Nice environment, great service and nice food. A few noisy groups in the restaurant making it hard to hear, wouldn't stop us returning to the restaurant.

Usually dine there with a group of 6 before attending a show at the National Theatre & would prefer to be able to split the bill instead of having to count out cash! Food is delicious, large servings & staff very accommodating! Will keep going!

Good choice of food and what we chose was tasty. Disappointingly no non alcoholic wine, but otherwise good.

Food was very nice, it was my first experience at the restaurant and will be going back.

Dining experience was rushed as the restaurant had not received our booking, nor that of our friends. Restaurant did their best & accomodated us but it clearly strained their resources.

4 meals came out at different times, one about 20 minutes after others. Manager not very friendly

Sent meal back beef cheeks dry, tough and inedible. Staff run off their feet, customers beside us were forgotten and when eventually served food was dry and burnt on the bottom. Wont be returning!

The wait staff were so lovely. The food menu for breakfast and lunch has a great range to choose from with generous size portions. A good choice for before the theatre
