Salam Namaste Pakistani and Indian Restaurant does exactly what it says on the tin, with a range of Indian and Pakistani classics that are guaranteed to enthral all and sundry that pay them a visit at their Marion Street location. That means great starters – go for the tandoori king platter, with lamb seekh kebab, chicken tikka, fish pakora, tandoori prawns and bhari kebab for the truly hungry – and as many different curries as you can take, from the mild stuff such as veggie korma or aloo matar rasa, with spuds, peas and tomatoes all the way up to lamb rogan josh, goat curry and chicken vindaloo. This is the Sydney Indian restaurant district, so expect the most authentic of experiences: and to have to reserve a table, as they do fill up.
