the food was expensive but was worth it cause it was big portions and very filling

Found the food portions had decreased - the anticipated 'Italian portions' are not there anymore. The restaurant was less than half full and perhaps this may be a reason. The chilli mussels were good, but they forgot one dessert. The coffee was 'lousy'!

We had a group booking of 14 people today for lunch. I hadn’t tried Sebastian’s for a few years and remembered it being a great restaurant for dining. But unfortunately it has changed with the service, decor and quality of the food. The service was slow, meals came out reasonably ok together but freshness was not that great. The chips were stale, the lasagna was lukewarm. The prices were high for smaller meals. The decor and ambiance was tired and dusty in need of a good clean. Won’t return in a hurry.

Food was nice especially the garlic bread, they were perfectly done. Chillis mussels were not bad.

Sebastians has vastly improved since a year or so ago however the size of their pasta meals has decreased to an almost entree size. I ordered a pizza which was plenty for me and we saw several proper sized meals delivered to other tables however, my partner's tortellini meal was certainly not enough to satisfy a woman let alone a man. He left the restaurant feeling hungry and most dissatisfied.

Bruschetta and Pollo Picante were delicious. Barramundi tasted and looked undercooked but hubby ate it.

This is our go-to Italian restaurant but we were a little underwhelmed. We asked for wine glasses and as they hadn’t arrived I went to collect them and was told ‘we can’t let you take them. I’ll bring them straight to you’. But they were late coming and one didn’t match. We were at the 6:30 seating so don’t think they could have run out of same size glasses. Moving on we placed our order for mains which came out in stages. We ordered two fish and prawns, two arancini dishes, two chilli mussels. The fish arrived together, then a six minutes later one chilli mussel turned up, Five minutes later the other one turned up and five minutes after that the arancini dishes arrived. The restaurant wasn’t busy at that time - maybe it was understaffed. We are used to great service especially by Pricilla who was unfortunately not working. On the upside the food was superb although the chilli mussels could have had more sauce. The wait staff were pleasant and polite. We will return.

Sebastians is our go to restaurant. My wife and I love it. The atmosphere is always great, the food is always spot on!

We enjoyed our dinner the service was good , food was tasty and good value for money.

Unfortunately our meals were not up to the usually high standards we have experienced from Sebastian’s. The veal was overcooked and very sinuous. The meals were split in timing of about 25 minutes. Therefore not eating together. Yes it might have been busy due to Mother’s Day, but this should have been forecast and better preparation. Such a shame as my mother is visiting from Sydney and we chose Sebastian’s to celebrate.

It had been a long while since I've been to Sebastian's but good to see still a good place to eat. Only negative for the sweet potato fries were not the best but the veal masala it came with was very good. Chicken Parma also good.
