Sedap Place restaurant

I was wanting to introduce the restaurant to friend and was totally disappointed. Waited 30 mins for entree which was just a few satay sticks then they forgot a main meal for one person. He waited 50 mins for a plate of fried rice! Unacceptable. The standard has gone down since I was there a few years ago before covid! Not going back again!

Great service and food. Had not been there for a while and was pleased to find everything was as good as we remembered.

The restaurant reception was great, we had our table reserved and well set up inside as per my request. Food was great and customer service personnel were helpful and efficient.The huge “Nasi Lemak” shared plate was a hit amongst my guest , highly recommended.👍👍

Fabulous food and ambiance...can be a bit noisy but it's fine ......

Nasi lemak was tasteless and very mediocre Very disappointed with the meal

Service was a little inattentive Orders took a long time to come out Mistake with the order. However staff were apologetic and polite when dealing with. Food overall was good, standard of the laksa has dropped.

Tasty food but could up the spice level a bit . The tauhu sumbat used the wrong type of tofu. Should have used the crispy type. Very disappointed that the egg balado. ($8) is still not on the menu!!!! Had to ask three times for water but eventually got it. The 2 Staff seemed preoccupied but were accommodating once you got their attention.

The food was great. Atmosphere was warm. Pricing was reasonable.

The food is consistently tasty. Service staff are friendly and efficient. However, vegetarian options are limited. Please add more vegetarian and plant based items. Perhaps some plant based nasi lemak. Also please bring back the egg balado.

Can't stay away from this restaurant, great food, I have to get past the Volcano Laksa and try other dishes but it is so good, Friendly staff and really tasty food, what more can one ask for!

We had a nice time catching up with family over good food.

We ordered char kuey teow, traditional laksa and fried chicken to share. Plus teh tarik. Food was ok but very salty. The salt can be reduced by half I reckon. Teh tarik is very sweet even though we ask for ‘less sweet’. A bit on pricy side compared with other similar restaurants.

Restaurant owner SMSed that restaurant is not open. Owner not contactable, left messages but did not return calls.

A great neighbourhood gem in the heart of East Vic Park. It serves authentic Malaysian cuisine and the servings are generous and food came out quickly! Great service too! Although the restaurant has limited seating, booking in advance is highly recommended!

good food great service inspite of being short staffed. only disappointment was the ice machine was not working so went elsewhere for dessert

Nice authentic food. No fusion rubbish. This is real Malaysian food. Generous portions. Try it.

Excellent authentic food at reasonable prices and friendly staff members.

The food is always amazing! Only downside is they brought our entrees and mains out together.
