Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. At this popular curry house on Glen Iris’ Malvern Road, not only is the menu packed with all of the traditional Indian classics, but you’ll find an array of exciting Nepalese dishes too. From chicken korma to goat curry and hot and spicy madras, you’ll find all of your old favourites on the menu at Melbourne’s Singh's Bala Da Dhaba. If you want to stray from the usual Indian offerings though, try some momos (Nepalese steamed dumplings filled with chicken or vegetables and served with a special soup) or the Nepalese chow chow (stir-fried noodles with mild spices and soya sauce with chicken or mixed vegetables). Singh's Bala Da Dhaba’s extensive menu, colourful decor and warm atmosphere make it a local hotspot, so to guarantee a table making a reservation in advance is recommended.

Curries were good. Service could improve - we would likely have ordered more drinks or dessert but no-one came back after clearing main dishes away. The restaurant was not particularly busy.
Nice staff & delicious food! Will definetely coming back to eat at this restaurant. Me and my friends had a great evening and a lot of fun.
Excellent vegetarian meal had by our two couples. Advised that Bassa was the only fish on the menu which I criticised as the only fish that came out of the poluted waters of Vietnam & not the fidh to be served in a restaurant even is the Super Markets were promoting such a dirty fish ehi` looks very white & clean, but its origines leave me with a lot to avoid. Very happy with service & quality of our meals. les Segeal " firstname.lastname@example.org "
