The service was great and the food was really good. We really appreciated the fact that the staff were helpful in organising take away containers for the food we didn't finish

Food was tasty, but the service wasn't great. Menu is confusing, two tacos for $15 gives you the impression that when you order tacos you get two... Not one.

Great food and service with some live music being trialled creating a relaxed atmosphere. Well done to the team. Recommend to anyone wanting to eat in North Hobart.

Lovely atmosphere, great service, good prices. Only small complaint would be people that ordered tacos had them all come out together on a tray and we had to pick through them all to figure out which one was which.

Great food, good quantities, good variety. A bit noisy ( concrete, glass etc). Service was pleasant but we had to ask about some of our orders. We would return!

This was not our first visit to Sons of Baja and it certainly won't be our last! We love the way that we are able to order the food as we want it and not have to put the whole meal order in at once. The food and the service is outstanding, we can highly recommend a visit to Sons of Baja.

Food was good and well priced, service was good but the venue is very noisy and we almost had to shout at each other to have a conversation which when we were only a table of three is not very pleasant. The owner? did ask us how our evening was going and we told him the same thing. He said they are looking into ways to lessen the noise issues but I'm afraid until that happens we will be dining elsewhere so we can eat and have a chat without having to compete with 60 or so other voices to the same time.

We were not advised by the waitress when ordering that is was tapas and that our orders were to share even though she confirmed everyones order when we had all ordered. Meals came out all over the place some people were eating while others weren't, there was a dessert missed off the order and we had to chase up drinks. very disappointing

I knew the prices had gone up for the cerviches and share plates by about $5 with their new menu that came out a few months ago. Pretty disappointed that dishes have now also shrunk considerably in size. Tacos were still however. Mead is also not available in different varieties any more and is served with fruit, ice and mint like it used to be. Asked for a table in corner as knew it gets pretty noisy. Was given that but the restaurant was pretty much filled around us and the other half was empty. Was uncomfortably noisy. Won't go back, except maybe for tacos.

Food was tasty and they allowed us to stick around to keep talking without hassling us to move which was very much appreciated. But the waiter must have been new because he couldn't answer basic questions about the menu and stuffed up our order.

Great food and atmosphere. Service very satisfactory. Although the restaurant was fairly noisy our table of eight was still able to talk together quite easily.

Great food great service! Good wine and cocktail list. Will definitely go back. Good venue for groups and couples. Soft tacos a must. Love the chipotle sauce.

The service, the food and especially the drinks were fantastic. Lost 1 point for bringing my husband's meal out before mine, he'd finished his meal before mine arrived. Oh...and dessert was delish!

A great dining experience. Good service and tasty food. Ordered a selection of plates to share as they are smaller and gave us a variety of flavour experiences. Each plate was delicious. Good selection of alcohol as well. Vegan friendly too!

Great mix and variety of food. Service was very good. One problem was extreme sun along the window side and there were no blinds. This meant everyone was very hot and had blaring sun in our eyes.

Fantastic meal. Beautiful fresh food. Great service and a comfortable table where we could talk as a family. Can't wait to go back soon. Can't recommend highly enough. Give this fabulous place a try!

Love the Tuesday $5 Tacos! Yummy food and a good atmosphere. Everything ran smoothly including booking online. Would happily recommend and go back again sometime.

Great original flavours combined with a good range of craft beer on tap make this restaurant a little gem. Don't forget to try the cooked as you order corn chips with the dips and the sangrias.

Great food and good overall experience. Only negative was the Music and atmosphere was a little load so it was hard to have a conversation

Friendly staff, fast service, great food. The Crispy Fish Taco is a must try, delicious. Our group had a wonderful night for a birthday celebration.

Our first visit was very enjoyable . Large variety of tacos, ended up with a delicious platter to share, great beer . Very friendly staff.

Food was excellent. Service was friendly and un-intrusive. Seats were comfy. Tables DIDN'T rock or move. I would definitely go again. I definitely recommend it

Amazing Tacos!! In fact everything was great. Love authentic Mexican food like this. You'll never eat "Tex-Mex" again after eating here. Ten out of ten for food, drinks and staff.

Some amazing tastes, service was great, lots to like about this place, is family friendly, will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
