I was disappointed with my experience. We ordered appetisers and the main meals arrived before we had a chance to finish the first course. For the main, I ordered fettuccine with barramundi and prawns. The pasta was undercooked, not much seafood and the dish tasteless. My Husband ordered the chicken breast with mashed potato accompanied with a sauce. The chicken and mashed potato were very dry, exaserbated by

Slow service from staff who didn’t seem interested in taking our order and were fairly indifferent and unapologetic when it came to our complaints. Food all out at different times, one of our guests only received his food once we were all finished. Tiny, entree servings at a main meal price. One of the chicken dishes was cold, staff didn’t offer to reheat just made a face and just said “Well do you want something else?”. No apologies until after complaining several times. To their credit they did eventually comp one of our meals and offer complimentary drinks, however overall a very disappointing experience.

Food was great only issue was the time service took but the did apologise and they were very busy. Great place to and and would go again.

We had table for 4 for lunch. Restaurant was busy with Xmas lunches. But service and food was fantastic. We will definitely be back again and again.

This was our 2nd Christmas lunch do at the restaurant. We love the food and love the staff, so quick and attentive even with another massive group eating there. However it was extremely loud and had we known there was a massive group function may have asked to sit outside. The staff did amazing though, thanks for having us!

Mains came out before garlic bread which was our only starter... Main meals weren't bad. Menu definitely could be cheaper.

From start to finish the experience was delightful. The service was excellent and the food even more so. Definitely in my top five restaurants. If you want to impress guests you won’t go wrong with Sorrento.

Lovely staff, reasonably-sized portions and delicious food! Service was very fast. One of my favourite restaurants for sure.

We are regulars at this restaurant but usually come here on a Saturday night. This time it was a Friday, and our regular waitress was not on duty. She always looks after us so well - drinks and bread/butter plus pasta dish to share as entre come without us asking. She's a gem. So this time we twice had to ask to be served - wine and food (and there were hardly any people in the restaurant!), and alas our favourite entre was no longer on the menu - it's lovely, such a light and tasty pasta dish (alla Grecia, I think). Why has it been removed? The alternative option was OK but much heavier (creamy dish) and not nearly as tasty. Mains weren't as good as usual either. Fish slightly overdone and pork saltimbocca a bit more salty than usual. Is this a one-off? Hope so. We will obviously be back, but on a Saturday night!

Fantastic 30years ago and still fantastic now. Waiters and waitresses were fabulous and the food is amazing!

We were celebrating our 20th year since our first date which was at Sorrentos. When we arrived the staff were great and interested. We ordered Wine, Entree and Mains, then we felt like we were forgotten. 20-30 minutes past after we had finished our mains, we wanted to order dessert and coffee but ended up going to the reception and paying for our meal. Ended up at San Churros for dessert and Coffee. Besides that, it was a great experience and the food was magnificent.

Wait staff although very polite, never came back during the course of the evening to see if we had everything we needed, were charged for a glass of wine we never received (we were reimbursed for this). This was meant to be a carafe of wine which also never arrived. Possibly understaffed on the night.

We had a lovely leisurely lunch sitting by the open window we did request a table change as we were quite warm no problem. Waitress was great gave us loads of time to make choices. Shared a pizza for entree then each had entree sized meals. As usual fantastic food and service. Will definitely return
