St. James Crabhouse Hamilton is an American-inspired crabhouse and grill doing all kinds of wonderful things for the food scene in this part of Brisbane. Alaskan crabs are the name of the game here alongside local and always responsible seafood and produce. Complementing the food is the St. James Crabhouse ethos that food is meant to be fun, hence diners are always encouraged to play with their food and eat with their hands. There’s no other dining experience in Hamilton quite like St. James Crabhouse. Located along Kingsford Smith Drive, this is certainly an immensely popular restaurant so it’s best to reserve your spot way ahead of time.

When you look at the St. James Crabhouse Hamilton menu, alongside the starters you’ll see the see the stars of the show: the crustaceans. First, choose your catch. Depending on availability there’s everything from Alaskan king crabs to Australian blue swimmers, spanner crabs, mud crabs, lobsters, Queensland prawns, you name it. Then, choose your sauce. They’re all specially blended here, completely brilliant and our two top picks are the New Orleans cajun or the gluten-free Baltimore butter. Round things off with a side or two and St. James Crabhouse Hamilton will have you hooked.
If you don’t feel like crustacean or you’d just rather keep your hands clean, there’s plenty of other stuff on the St. James Crabhouse Hamilton menu as well. The pork or beef short ribs from the chargrill go down a treat (there’s a whole different selection of homemade sauces to along with them), as do any of the meat or veggie American-style burgers. For dessert, finish up with a classic piece of key lime pie then sit back and thank the heavens for St. James Crabhouse. Head to Kingsford Smith Drive armed with a reservation – you’ll need it.
