Food was amazing, coffee was great. First staff member taking our order was lovely, when we ordered our food and coffee she said would you like the mug as its $5 and on the special so we said yes and then when we went up to counter and showed voucher the lady behind the till wasnt very friendly and said thats $2 and I asked what it was for and she said because we got mugs and they arnt included and I replied and said your staff actually offered that to us and they shouldnt offer it if its not included and she was very rude and I said I will pay it but they shouldn't be recommending the mug and she grunted at me and just said 'read me the voucher number' 'read me the voucher number' and never charged me. She could of apologised on behalf of the staff member and explained it wasnt included in a polite manner and I would of happily paid the extra but it was the way she responded to me and made me feel like I wont return now to that restaurant! Pitty because the food was lovely.

The food was very nice and the service was excellent very friendly staff. I felt it was a real bargain using the scoupon deal. Will definitely go again.

We had a fab lunch with friends from perth and we all enjoyed our meal. The staff were lovely and so was the wine and food.

Always good food and great value! Extra friendly service. Although lots of construction going on around restaurant it is still a pleasant experience. Will be going back tonight for the pasta deals

we had bought 3 breaky vouchers before this fourth one and they decided to put less on the plate less of everything there must of been 5 mushies on the plate,you just dont advertise and sell these vouchers then make the plate smaller as people are buying them its just not good business very disappointed

Food was very nice and staff was very friendly, good food great service, cannot be missed even if the place a little small and under construction around

The decor is now like a cafeteria, don’t go here for a romantic dinner...the lighting is too bright and the tables too close. Not our cup of tea.

Breakfast was good -coffee could have been a bit hotter but overall everything was good The only downfall was the roadworks going on outside but this is not the restaurant’s fault

While it was cheap with a Scoopon, I’d rather have paid more and gone somewhere else, having staff ask other staff loudly if anyone had rebooked a table right next to where I was eating was a disappointment, asking for sizes of coffee when only one size is listed, ignored when I asked what was what. Food- was okay, had eggs benni, eggs could have done for longer to avoid the runny whites, otherwise it was okay. Husband had Big breakfast, no complaints there. So so.

Nice location, friendly staff, good breakfast food served. Due to the outdoor construction activities, the ocean view is temporarily limited. This shall improve once the construction finishes though.

Excellent value for money with a voucher, good prompt service and to our liking, the hottest coffee in Rockingham. Eggs Hollandaise for breakfast was very tasty & a good portion.

Buzzing atmosphere with friendly and attentive wait staff and good value meals right next to the beach on the Rockingham foreshore. Would recommend for families

Poor service, food was okay but would not recommend paying extra for the bacon unless you don’t mind paying $4 for one (yes that’s right, only one) rasher of burnt greasy bacon

Enjoyed our breakfast especially the eggs hollandaise. Coffee good too and lovely staff. Lots of building work going on outside currently so sat inside. Will be even better when this is completed.

The food is divine and the staff are lovely and welcoming. We very much enjoyed our dinner here. We were disappointed with the advertising of opening hours til late, however, as we were having such a fabulous time, and yet they asked us to leave at 9.15pm as they had closed. They had no more customers coming in they said, and so the kitchen was closed at 8.45pm without warning when we asked to order dessert and coffee, which was difficult anyway as it was not easy to get the attention of staff. Again, you cannot fault the food, and the wait staff are a delight, we just left on a sad and disappointing note. We were looking forward to finishing our night off with a Nutella crepe dessert! I would highly recommend asking all the existing customers still in the restaurant if they require anything else before closing!

The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic and keen to assist. The food was very good. There were four of us, we all selected different dishes and were very happy with we selected and will certainly return.

We had great service by staff Jackie and Natalie. Disappointed our first 2 choices of mains were unavailable. What we ended up choosing was good though

A beautiful sunny day - great opportunity for a lunch special - can highly recommend the Thai Curry, it was delicious! Service was a bit slow off the mark after we were seated, but overall a great lunch 🙂

Friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious and generous servings. Hot chocolate one of the best I have had. Super specials on the menu for breakfast too. Lovely surprise to hear the chef call out thanks as we were leaving. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent friendly staff. Busy little cafe was a good sign when we got there at 10.30 on a Saturday morning. Service was very friendly and efficient. once ordered drinks and food came very timely, food was well presented and very tasty. Too job well done and people need to visit during the current works to keep this cafe operating. Well done guys.

The Steel Tree is one of our favourite restaurants in Rockingham. Always fresh quality food with excellent service. Thank you & will be back again.

They have good deals for lunch, good place to go for a weekend lunch

Lovely brekky. Coffee nice. Cosy little place near the ocean...Service could have been a little bit better, as the girl wasn't overly pleasant. ...but overall....recommended.
