Further Information

Decorated in the style of a traditional Swiss gaststube with blonde-wood furniture, Swiss Club of Victoria is full of authentic charm and at this Melbourne CBD restaurant you’ll experience legendary Swiss hospitality. Swiss cuisine takes inspiration from some German, Italian and French dishes, but gives them its own twist, and on the menu at the Swiss Club of Victoria you’ll find a range of choices that represent this distinctive central European confluence admirably.

Try the bünder teller (thinly-shaved air-dried beef served with cornichons and cocktail onions) or some fleischkäse (rösti with meatloaf and a fried egg) to start with before tucking into a hearty Swiss main dish. We recommend the rehpfeffer (venison goulash with spätzli and red cabbage) and the half roasted duckling in a port wine sauce, or you could share the decadent cheese fondue which comes served alongside bread and apples. Pair your meal with some imported Swiss wine and beer, or try some Rivella, Switzerland's most popular soft drink. For a taste of authentic Swiss cuisine in Melbourne’s CBD book a table at Swiss Club of Victoria on Flinders Lane.

Reasonably priced delicious food with truly Swiss roots. Go Thursday night and enjoy the Swiss style life music on top. Fondue as a main or at least for dessert is a 'must' ....

Great food, and an excellent restaurant, will be returning, as we did on this occasion. Certainly would recommend this restaurant and it's reasonably priced, with a good selection of wines
