An amazing meal The service was top class and worth every cent
6 of us had a delicious lunch and all the staff were friendly in this very clean restaurant. We are looking forward to going back soon.
Amazing food! Would definitely return again. Thank you for the wonderful service.
Excellent as always. Friendly service and quality produce. We will be back!
Great service, great food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Always a wonderful dinning experience.
i felt like i was obliged to leave a tip. - overall a nice evening.
This place was awesome again, as usual, great food and service!!
We loved everything about our visit! We would definitely go back!
Fantastic food and service loved it we will be back
Loved the service food and ambience! Always consistent and great.
Real quality food at a good price. Certainly not your normal run of the mill Chinese food. It was a nice experience.
Second visit to this little gem, lovely meal, good wine list at reasonable prices. I will definitely be back!
Our family enjoys the food ,service and ambience which are really good
Very modern decor, food good. Despite advertising as gluten free friendly options only a very restricted gf menu. What we ate was good but disappointed with range of options for a restaurant that rated highly on Trip Advisor for gf options.
Fantastic, enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and service was great
It was a before theatre meal and therefore time was limited unfortunately. The staff ensured we had continuous service and the food we all shared was beautiful. I shall definitely revisit in the near future, taking more time to discover further more of their tempting menu
Great food awesome service Totally enjoyed every part of the banquet
Having been a regular over many years to Tea House it was a very disappointing visit. Food was just OK, Service was terrible - slow to serve and deliver food forgot drinks, extremely inattentive, near impossible to flag down a waiter along with very poor english skills understanding requests. We were jammed into the back half of the restaurant on top of each others tables and next to quite loud guests making conversation near impossible. Overall a very ordinary night and I will be giving them a miss next visit.
The food was lovely and the staff were attentive but they served pineapple with our curry despite being warned of an allergy. They did repeat back our order but did not mention our warning about the allergy.
Quick friendly service. Great food, very tasty. Very clean restaurant. Thanks for your hospitality.
Banquet was fabulous. Beef was crispy and vegetables lovely and crunchy. Service impeccable.10/10
Very helpful and attentive staff. Delicious food and excellent wines
Excellent food as always. Prawns and duck were fresh, with tastey rice.
Some may find the restaurant's practice of serving individual portions of shared dishes to each diner unusual, but I imagine that's how the Emperors were served in ancient China. Certainly having all of the lobster meat served without any shell, including the leg meat, made eating easy, although I suspect that the extra labour involved might have inflated the price somewhat and, of course, without any shell the dish looks small, but it was an excellent eating experience!
The fluffy omelette with lobster meat is my favourite . The staff are so friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Great had a great time good food would like to go again
The banquet was delicious. Lots of food but all too delicious to say no to! They were very accommodating about our need to be out by a certain time. Great food and great service.
Food is amazing. Best tucked away hidden treasure! Highly recommend
The food was fantastic especially the stuffed Garfish and the Peking duck. Service was prompt ( not much personality) and the price reasonable. We will certainly be back.
Ready good food with fresh ingredients, great flavours and attentive service.
Great food and friendly service, a favourite place to go.
Excellent food, great service, well worth the visit. Will dine here again.
The food is always good, but the service is lacking. Greeted at the door by a seemingly annoyed female staff member. Seated and provided with tea. The gentleman who served me wasn't necessarily rude, he just wasn't anything. When asked for wine he practically raised his eyebrows like I asked for a unicorn. Food arrived with same level of disinterest and coldness. It's a shame because their food is great and the maitre'd has always been very polite (mostly to men). Paying the final bill was done at reception by same annoyed and disinterested female staff. Probably my last visit, and can't recommend anymore.
Excellent food and wines. Service first class. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The atmosphere good in that we were not distracted by noise and we could chat easily .
My very good friend and I had a lovely dinner at the Tea House. Apart from the food being spectacular, the service was next to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Booking was very easy and on arrival we received Very good service and really great food. Would highly recommend. Also a very relaxing environment. Staff were very intentitive and couldn’t have done any more for us !!! Kids loved the desert........
A lovely evening excellent service and great food highly recommend. Menu has everything you could want from a Chinese restaurant. Dumplings were a favourite as well as the san Choi boy.
This restaurant is always reliable. The Cantonese cuisine is excellent and the service is impeccable. The tables are not too close to each other. Some of the dishes on offer are particularly special such as the fluffy lobster omelet, quail san choi bow and the stuffed garfish. The Peking duck is delicious and meaty, not greasy like some other places. Prices are reasonable. Amongst our group of five we had a celiac person and there was no difficulty in catering for her.
It was the first time we had eaten here and I must say the food is amazing We will definitely be back the food is very fresh and the staff and very friendly and helpful
This is our favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Not overpriced. Excellent service. Meals are delivered super quick even when it's busy and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS. Looking forward to our next visit.
