The staff were very friendly but the Artel is a little dark in the main seating area. I found the beef skewers were cut into pieces that were quite large and had been a little overcooked. I would prefer small pieces on skewers. My friends had risotto, prawns which were very good.
Arrived at 6.45pm and took 30 mins just to get a drink. Entree came straight away main took 3 hours to arrive on table along with 2 other tables. Never again
Food very well prepared and plated, cooked to perfection and staff very warm and welcoming. Restaurant clean and well presented. The attached store is a bonus.
The food was perfect. The restaurant had a warm and enviting atmosphere. The staff were very engaging and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will definitely go again.
The waitress was a little unfamiliar with the new billing system which delayed leaving the restaurant. One item on the menu, which we wanted to order was not available so we were offered a substitute which was OK but not what we wanted. The dessert came out with chocolate ice cream when it should have been raspberry and white chocolate. The main meal ordered was cooked well but a bit tough.
Have been there twice now and the food has been nice but the service on both occasions were extremely slow and non-responsive. Our table of 4pax ended up going elsewhere for dessert because the waiters never came to our table when we completed our mains and the restaurant didn't appear to be busy at that time. In the 3hrs we were there, we were waited; entree, mains and 2 rounds of drinks and we had to ask for cutlery several times. Lots of missed opportunities (sales) for a business.
Appalling service. Despite booking a table online, had to wait for one for an hour. The table that was provided wasn't cleaned from the previous guests for another half hour. The order took over an hour and a half to come and the both the entree and mains were brought out together. Food was average. Risotto was tasteless. Wouldn't be going back. The music and wine were the saving grace.
Thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. Mains were okay. Main problem was the service. It took over an hour to get our first course. Then they forgot 1 our of 4 mains. A couple of the staff members were quite young and looked really nervous therefore we won't be too harsh in judgement. Staff were friendly and apologetic however.
Very pleasant and enjoyable lunch...food and service was A+....will be back again for sure.it has such a great atmosphere and very clean.open fireplace was nice and cosey.
the tapas food was amazing, and all came our at perfect times, very friendly and polite, and no issue we were late as well. Comfy chairs too!
Food was amazing but the service was really slow, have been before when service was great so will go back. Live music was too loud for a Sunday lunch in a tiny room
Meal was OK service was extremely poor, waited 20 minutes for a menu, once ordering we waited 30 minutes for our drinks to be delivered and 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food, then some of the food delivered was not what we ordered and some of our food was completely miss altogether!
Lovely food but slow service which was disappointing. Took ages for orders to be taken, plates to be cleared and food to be received. Okay experience
