It was pleasant service, nice food, and value for money.
We had a wonderful meal with so much variety in the menu the service was prompt & curteous.
Best Nepalese (Indian) food in Perth nice little restaurant good atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable, I loved it.
Great flavours abound in this traditional Indian restaurant with pleasant service.
Excellent food, a waiter with a good sense of humour who helped us choose our meals, for a quiet night the service could have been a little quicker, but this did not distract from a good evening. We'll go back
good customer service, portion is good, we get our food quick as well
Delicious food as always. Love that they offer a range of spiciness options and plenty of mild dishes. Reasonable corkage charge. Love the onion bhaji!
The food is the best Nepalese in the area. Staff incredibly friendly and will work with you for off menu items. Don’t be put off by the decor, this restaurant is a real gem
Been walking past for ages so finally tried it. Friendly staff, prompt service, yummy food. For a cheap and cheerful this hits the spot. Thank you.
For a Saturday night the restaurant was dead at 7 pm. Only one family at a table when we arrived then another couple came and they were put at a table right next to use. Couldn't believe why the service was so slow. It's a shame because the food was lovely.
The food was lovely, but service was terribly slow. We were there for dinner on a Tuesday evening. It was possibly a quarter full but they seemed very understaffed - with one wait staff. Definitely not rushing back.
The restaurant was closed. Very disappointing as their website showed it was open from 11.30am that day and we booked for 1.15pm. It was supposed to be a birthday lunch for my husband.
All dishes were excellent and well-priced (though I think the plain steamed rice was a little expensive). Our third visit and we will come again.
The Darbar is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant. The food is delicious and competitively priced. The staff are friendly and efficient. We had a great night out
The Nepalese meal for two was terrific - except that the mango dessert was not available and we weren't advised until we asked as to where our dessert was after waiting just over 20 minutes. The substitute was delicious. The service was ok, and the food was excellent.
Great restaurant, good service and we have been there many times. The only reason I have given 5/6 is because the restaurant curries are inconsistent. They can vary significantly....ordering the same curry does not mean it will taste the same as last time. Would definitely recommend.
We are regular Darbar customers and decided to take relatives visiting from the UK for a meal there. They were impressed with the flavours and quality of the dishes. They had not experienced Nepalese dishes before and the dishes we had were well received. The staff were efficient and friendly as usual and the night was a very pleasant one.
We really like dining at The Darbar. The staff are very friendly but not intrusive; the food is always fresh, tasty and served hot to the table. The dishes are authentic and there is a wide range of both Indian and Nepalese to choose from. We recommend The Darbar to others without hesitation.
Good food at a reasonable price. Tables well spaced so that you can talk. We would certainly recommend to anyone or come back again sometime.
Pleasant service. Good size servings are well presented. Butter chicken was a bit too tomatoey for my taste this time. Otherwise the food was nice.
Food was good and tasty. Were given complimentary papadums which was a nice touch. Felt the restaurant was a little cold, as we were both rugged up for winter and still a little on the chilly side. Had to physically go and find a waitperson in order to order additional drinks. Food was well priced.
First time at this restaurant. Found it in the entertainment book. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff, Food and Service were excellent. Chiefs special was the best.
We had a delicious meal at the Darbar in Fremantle. We had meat samosas for entree, beef curry, Tandoori chicken, Bombay Aloo (potato curry), naan bread and rice for main course and finished off the meal with Khir (rice pudding) and Gulab Jaman (sweet dumplings). The food was served piping hot and just at the right times - not too rushed between courses. The portions were very generous and we couldn't finish it all between the two of us. The staff were really friendly and always very helpful to explain what the dishes were if we didn't know. I have no hesitation in recommending the Darbar to anyone who wants to have high quality, authentic Indian/Nepalese food in a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
This was the first time we had been to Darbar Fremantle. Was recommended by someone at work. Everything we ordered, starters, mains and breads was excellent. Service was good too. We will definitely be going back.
We had a great night at Darbar. The food was really tasty and the staff were friendly and efficient. A great place to go for a group meal.
The restaurant was clean and the staff very friendly. The food was as good as expected for a buffet style restaurant, but the choice could have been better. For the price I will definitely go again, but maybe for just dinner rather than celebrating am occasion.
The food and service was amazing!! Will definitely go back. The menu was great with so many delightful meals to choose from and the staff were very friendly.
Food was good, but the service was very slow. We had to ask for our rice, as it wasn't brought out with our main meals. No atmosphere in the restaurant, despite there being several tables full.
Very good service and not intrusive. the food was very good with good servings. We ordered 3 dishes for the 4 of use with large rice and naan.
The food was great loved the butter chicken. The staff were friendly and made the experience great. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.
First time we have been in this restaurant. Food was delicious and is very reasonable. Service was good. Location was easy to find and there are so many options to choose from. Will definitely visiting there soon.
Great food and the staff were very helpful assisting with our order. Butter chicken was a delight and the kadai lamb was 'kadai' for. Happy to go back again.
The food was delicious and well presented. Service was attentive as the restaurant was not busy. We will definitely return and sample more of the Nepali fare.
Great food, friendly service and this every time we are there. It is the best Nepalese / Indian restaurant in and around Fremantle! Love it
