Everything was great- service at times was slow but understandable as they were short staffed

Room was very dark and noisy, difficult to hear each other, service was excellent, food was great. We had duck pancakes and pork and chive dumplings which were both amazing, Mongolian beef and snow peas with broccoli, absolutely cooked to perfection. We also ordered salt and pepper squid which is a favourite of all 4 diners however there was very little if any salt on it. The squid was very tender but lacked a bit of spice and flavour.

Food was delicious but service was lacking and two of my orders never arrived or were even on my bill. Trying to be understanding that they were busy and likely still trying to get into the swing of things, but it was a bit disappointing. Had to go home and eat more because I was still super hungry. I will visit again though. Price was great, too.

Food was really tasty, unfortunately there was a fridge issue so some beers weren’t available and our preferred prawn dumplings weren’t available either.

Excellent food and cocktails! Highly recommend trying the fried tofu.

Visit was great, not busy obviously because of everything that is going on, birthday party came in and were loud but that isn't something that can be controlled by you guys. Fab food, great cocktails!!

The Drunk Dumpling is a fantastic small restaurant in Newtown. The staff were extremely friendly and quick with their service. They attended to all of our needs and ensured we were comfortable. We will definitely be coming back soon

Lovely menu with wide ranges of dumplings. Everything ordered was great, cocktails were surprisisingly delicious!

Can't fault the food but the staff seem vacant. When they were waiting around they didn't seem to scan the room because we ordered a lot and always needed them to clear the table. Feedback: if bottles of water are empty or empty drinks, come over and ask if we would like more. The food was delicious but I'm sure the staff can improve.

The lighting was too dark in the restaurant and it was difficult to read the menu and see the food we were eating.

Fabulous food, great service definitely worth the visit and we will return.

I recently dined here with my partner. The restaurant is attractive and the food is delicious. We enjoyed cheap cocktails. One thing that did irritate us was that the San Chow Bow we ordered came with only two lettuce leaves - one each - and no where near enough for the volume of meat. We asked for more lettuce and were told that it would cost extra. A small thing but it left a bad impression.

The fried eggplant was delicious! The vegetarian san choy bow wasn't very good.

Great atmosphere, brilliant service and of course the food was lovely.
