Amazing blues club venue. Staff friendly and attentive love it

We're visiting Hobart and have been here 3 times. The food is great and the ambience relaxed. Quiz night on Wednesday nights is a lot of fun. Highly recommend a visit, make sure you book a table!

For somewhere to have a family get-together the Duke was ideal. The service, even with new staff learning the systems, food and beverages are brilliant. The new licencee’s deserve every encouragement for a great night out.

My husband and I enjoyed the food very much (the spreads, firewood pizza, and vegan pannacotta). We also had a great time tasting a variety of local whiskeys and talking with the staff. We highly recommend The Duke!

The staff made my daughter feel incredibly special on her birthday. The food was delicious, the service high quality and timely, and while it was a little noisy that was only because it was packed with people enjoying a great evening.

Great Tasmanian produce and great service at reasonable prices. Tassie pork, salmon and chicken. Good drinks menu and comfortable and relaxing setting. Definitely worth a visit, we will be returning.

Great food and great service. The only issue was the music was a bit too loud - could no longer talk to my friends and a couple of people got headaches. Always a great venue though.

Love the vegan options - the food was great. But there was live jazz that night which started so early (7.30pm) and was so loud that we couldn't talk over dinner as we had planned. I love live jazz, but ideally there;s time for dinner conversation first.

Good food well and live music is the draw card for us. Hearing the owner come from behind the bar and join the band to give a couple of beautiful jazz/blues songs was a real bonus.

It was our first experience at the Duke and we'll be back ! Great music , amazing staff and great pub food. A big plus for me , as a mature woman is that I would feel comfortable to go there on my own , and I can't say that about many pubs.

Greeted by friendly staff, followed by some amazing eats . Nothing was too much effort for the staff. Highly recommend to anyone in the area

Excellent, creative meals, well above pub food standard. Live music. Warm, attentive hosts. Great range of local wine and spirits. Pool table in bar. And no pokies! What's not to like?

Booked a table for 8 for a work Christmas function, and we all really enjoyed it. Really nice food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
