Lovely weekday specials and great place to meet friends for lunch

The southern fried chicken burger is amazing. The blue cheese dressing, melted cheese, perfect chicken and soft buns make it perfect. Order a side of chips and aioli and it's bliss. The venue is great with very lovely staff, lively atmosphere and great range of sports.

Took us 45 minutes to get our food and had to keep checking on the waters.

The service wasn't as good as a month ago, it was very disorganised, they need experienced wait staff & a manager!! The other disappointment was the fact the brisket pizza wasn't on the menu!!

service was slow - waiting for a table, waiting to order and for the food to arrive. Was far too noisy for talking but the food is consistently great.

The food was subpar and the service was horrible. Drinks and entree came very late. Mains came later even and was missing a meal. To top it off the bill wrong also and had to amend it.

Thoroughly enjoyed lunch and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommended

This is a great spot for lunch, with the only draw back being that it's a bit too loud for lunch making it difficult to have a conversation. Turn the music down a little during the day and you have a winner!

Flynn's pepperoni pizza to die for ...love the place !

There were 12 of us there for a farewell lunch. Booked at 1pm Pre order has been emailed across before 10am today as per requested. We arrived on time. After 15 minutes a lady came to take order. She was surprised that we had pre ordered. Apparently no one has checked email and did not look at our pre order list. She took my print out pre order list to start working on our order. Food finally came 30 mins later for 11 of us. She only told my colleague that pizza oven is broken and he needs to order something else. With very limited choice for a vegetarian he ordered a sandwich with chips. No apologies at all for not checking for pre order list.

Like going there for a chat & catch-up with pizzas, lately the service has been average, noisy and slow.

The lighting is very dark - for a business lunch, it was a bit difficult to see.

Our waitress seemed a bit disinterested, didn't write down the orders and then got some things wrong. Overall it was fine and it's good value. Great that you can book ahead.

Have been to the Flynn several times, service was particularly poor today relative to previously. Had a booking, and requested for a table, to be advised that they were reserved. Two people came in after us without a reservation and were granted that same table that we were after. Waitresses are very slow with service and a bit inaccurate when it came to ordering.

We had another enjoyable lunch. The Flynn provides excellent service and value.

It's quite loud for lunch - but we were there on Friday. We had a table of 6 and meals were served at completely different times. In fact, there was a waiting period of almost 10 minutes between meal 4 arriving and the last two. It's not that cheap for the haphazard meal service

Great service and food as always. My go-to lunch and bar venue.

We do like coming there as the food is good. However, although the waitresses are very polite, I find they are not quite up to speed with requests and queries. Quite frustrating, to the point where we know what to expect.

It took a while for our orders to be taken. We had to actually prompt the wait staff for services

Work lunch for overseas colleagues. Food order took absolutely ages as did the food. Some had to take theirs back to office as takeaway, some cold and not cooked properly. Complaints were made. Will not be returning or recommending.

The Flynn is a standout venue for good food, live sports, great service and convenience. The kaarage chicken burger is excellent. Order this with a side of fries and aioli and you'll be set. Try the truffle fries if you want to try something different. The staff are excellent but the second time can be a bit slow when there large numbers of people but it's fine overall.
