The Greek Spot

Very nice food and quite a nice setting. We felt quite rushed and although we were told we could only have our table for 1.5 hours we were out in 45 minutes.

We have been going to The Greek Spot intermittently for years and years. It never disappoints.

Not too bad really. Servings could be more generous. Desserts were surprisingly above average. At a time where good Greek restaurants are hard to find this place should do well.

Excellent food and service, nice and warm on a cold night but not too hot. Lighting could be a bit softer, but that's just me. Will certainly go back.

Small servings. Their meat platter for 2 is about right for 1. When you order dips who charges you pita bread separate?

We had a pleasant night. The staff were friendly, the food was good and we felt very comfortable in that typical relaxed Greek hospitality

First time visit to the Greek Spot. The place was full, the food was fantastic. We had the fried white bait and grilled balsamic octopus for entree...I’m not sure I’ve had better anywhere including in Greece..and we go there every year! We had the fried calamari and the king George whiting...both delicious...the KGW was very well presented. Service was excellent. For a moment I thought I was in Greece.

Chargrilled octopus and dips tasty. Calamari nicely cooked although lemon sauce non existent. Making dish rather boring. Chicken skewers well cooked however again sauce non existent. Side salad was lettuce leaves with no dressing. Meal ok without being interesting.

Food was incredible and the service was not too much but just enough that you remain comfortable all night.

Predictably wonderful. Eleni was there offering her usual fast ‘n fabulous comprehensive maître d’ service. The swordfish and the lamb cutlets were delicious and were accompanied by a generous Greek salad. We finished with a baklava and espresso to cut through the wonderful syrupy dessert. The Greek Spot is a firm favourite which never disappoints.

Great food and reasonably priced. Seafood platter was the standout

I have been coming to this restaurant for years but no more. Two of us did not finish the meal, a third person needed antacids afterwards. The service was off-hand, food presentation disappointing, billing confused. Sad for what used to be a nice reliable neighbourhood restaurant.

The service was ok. The food was average, I never been to a Greek restaurant that doesn’t serve Greek potatoes

The $50 banquet is great value with heaps of food and lots of flavour

Overall very good including staff and food ample and varied menu
