As always, great hotpot place with amazing ingredients and variety as well as tasty soup bases. Newly renovated, and the place looks bright and beautiful now.

This is our go to restaurant for hotpot in Adelaide. They have recently renovated, making the dining area look beautiful. There is a sauce bar with some snacks as well. Quality of the ingredients are pretty good, with really nice variety of soup bases. Strongly recommend!

Dinner tasted amazing and the kids were kept busy. Awesome

We booked for a Birthday celebration with 3 guests who hadn’t been before, 1 being celiac, completely enjoyed the experience! We had individual hot pots so the meats and veg are always fresh. I think this place will get tired of me long before I get bored☺️

This was either my third or fourth visit to The Hot Pot Guy.. brought along some out of Towner’s who hadn’t had this particular experience yet and of course it was the perfect choice! Reasonably priced, staff are always friendly and eager to help, and the foods are always fresh. Such an exciting way to eat! Love this place!!

The experience was marred by a stale plate of spicy marinated beef. It had clearly gone off but we were still served it. It was returned and they offered a new plate but we couldn’t consume anymore as our appetite was gone.

The food was okay and services was great. Me and my partner had a great time.

It's a vibrant and pleasant restaurant. The staff are very nice, helpful and friendly. Even though our order was misplaced and we waited, we were happy with the quality of the food, overall experience that we will be back. It was a new experience for our 2 daughters who also enjoyed it there is a play area which was of benefit.

Booked a table for an event online in the private function room, everything went well and very attentive staff. Good value and delicious food. Happy for us to bring out own cake for a celebration and the kids play area is always a hit. This was our 3rd visit and we will be back again

The Hotpot Guy is an incredible place to go and eat. I went with two other people and we sat in the separate hotpot area as I am vegetarian. There are so many food options and all of the broths were delicious. It is excellently priced for the quality of food and service here! 10/10 will go again

We came here as a group with four kids. The kids loved the play equipment. The staff were super friendly, polite and efficient. Loved the sauce station!

Hotpot was amazing! We had the laksa and chicken soup, both were delicious. I love how the pot is so deep, we could cook lots at one time. The play area is great, my son had so much fun. Only minor gripe, the chairs are quite bulky so there isn't much space in between tables- it was a bit of a squeeze. Service was so prompt after the initial short wait to be seated (even though I had a reservation.) overall I loved the meal, and had a good time with my family. Thank you Hotpot Guy!

The atmosphere was amazing even for my little girl. The music was soft and not overwhelming. The staff were friendly and bubbly. For a new restaurant its something that will become our favourite.

Incredible customer service! One particular waitress was so very helpful and without me saying anything let me know the broth I’d chose had spice so cooking the kids dumpling in it would make them Spicy. She then offered that they cook the dumplings in the kitchen. Doesn’t sound like much but she solved a problem I didn’t even think of. My 5 & 7 yr old said “it’s the best restaurant ever” because of the playground. The food was absolutely delicious as well and we had so much fun cooking our own hot pots.

The food quality was top-notch. Every ingredient was fresh and flavorful, making each bite a delight. The variety of broths and dipping sauces added a unique touch, catering to different taste preferences.

The man that served us did an excellent job and made sure we had everything we needed.

Plenty of food and good assortment. Fried rice was yummy too. Would recommend all the soups except for the chilli broth, it is just too much and you can’t taste anything you put in it. But everything else was excellent.
