The Riverton Bar and Grill

I took my twin girls and some of their friends out for their 14th Birthday on Monday night, specifically to Riverton B&G so we could all have our favourite thing Sizzling Hot Chocolate Fudge. To begin our night we were sat at a table outside the toilets, in the corner. After a round of drinks we order our main meals and some bread for entree. I wanted the to ask the waiter about a couple of the items on the menu, however I was told that it was a new menu and they didn’t know much about it. The best part of an hour later, no bread, no meal and starving young ladies! Eventually I caught the eye of our waiter and we were told sorry for there is a queue in the kitchen as she ran past our table to quick for me to ask about the bread. Apparently, after catching her again she advised that she forgot to order the bread. So we cancelled the bread as we were told our meals were on their way. So we eventually receive and eat our dinner, and those who had steaks really enjoyed

Venue and atmosphere were both great. Food was average (burger could’ve had more sauce). Staff were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic venue. This was my third visit here and the consistency across the board has been exceptional. It's so great to have seen this place 2 years ago when it was a tired run down chain restaurant and then seeing it now where it is always flat out every time I drive past. Keep it up Rivo staff, you are doing a wonderful job.

Food was great and good size servings... Staff attentive and friendly

The meal was cold when it turned up as it took only less than 5 minutes to cook. A little disappointed and unhappy.

Great food with quick service! Kids loved the free face painting and play area. Will be back for sure!

We did enjoy ourselves during our dinner visit. Could have been better value for money but it was still good. Would return for special occasions.

Great lunch with good food and great service, happy environment

My steak was not cooked the way I ordered it. However when I notified staff another steak was promptly prepared to my order and was delicious.

Wasn’t as good as the last time we were there. The chips were stale and the steak was a bit tough.

We had a great night. Thomas Crane as Freddy Mercury was a true blast from the past. The food was plentiful and tasty. There was a full house on Saturday and still we got our meals in quick time. The Rivo is fast becoming our local

Started with a lovely meal and some cocktails, the service as usual was fantastic and ended with a show, they had a Freddie Mercury Tribute act and he was bloody great!

Seats were absolutely horrific, after being ignored about this issue 3 months before hand. When speaking to a waitress about this she was incredibly rude. Spoke to a manager after and he was nice. Have never had problems there before so very disappointed and kind of don't want to go back to our regular anymore. Couple of people at our table thought the food was bad too. Just hopefully they take on bored our feedback for future events.

Great place for a night out, excellent service and the food is cooked to perfection. Will be making a return visit very soon

Thank you to all concerned. The staff were all efficient, excellent and right on top of everything. The food was lovely and the atmosphere excellent. :) We will be back for sure, even though it is not our local hotel.

Too noisy - impossible to talk - or rather hear anyone with us at the table talking. Too cold and drafty. Not obvious where to pay. Otherwise a good average meal and service - bread/rolls were a bit dry and boring, steaks were good, curry good, but too spicy hot. would rather have music playing on the TV screens than football.
