Went back for a Christmas Eve lunch and it was much quieter than my first experience. Great service and food was lovely, good quality and priced well for lunch.

It was a very disappointing experience. The garlic bread was cold when we got it but we decided to eat it on the proviso that the main course was hot. My wife's main course was good. Unfortunately, my steak was virtually cold when it arrived so I sent it back to be reheated. The chips were lovely and hot which was nice. It would have been nice to have the choice of two chardonnay wines as a glass instead of just the one on the wine list per glass.

Smells coming out the kitchen were delicious, sadly, the food whilst not bad, wasn’t as good as the smell. Very busy night so maybe that was why? Service was excellent and surrounds are well done. Willing to give it another go.

Food was nice, but wanted a milkshake and the waitress said we don’t do them. Yes they are on your menu, answer was no machine to make them? Also no one checked with us to see if food was ok. Our son didn’t get his activity pack either with his meal.

Have had better Burgers and steak sandwich appeared to have been pre cooked they came out that quickly heard a lot about pad Thai but was bit disappointed

A great selection of food with extremely generous serves. Great service and a good atmosphere. I had the keto / diet friendly lean keen chicken with pumpkin and broccolini - delicious and healthy - a rare find in a restaurant.

We booked table for 24 at 8.30 pm at Christmas ‘ eve. We were seated outside. Great restaurant, friendly staff, quick and great service. Good price and the food was nice and big portion.

Great food and service. Venue looks great but unfortunately it's very noisy inside so difficult to hear each other. Been there 5 times now and it's always hard to communicate. Will try sitting outside next time as it's such a good local.

The food was good and large portions. The satay skewers didn’t really taste like satay more like red curry. The waitress was friendly but service was very slow. Table next to us came in after us but received there entree and mains before we even had entree. It took a long time before someone came to take our order even though there were people standing around.

Food was great. Service was great. Only thing we didn’t like was being put on an outside table in a 38 degree day . 😩😩

While the food was excellent unfortunately the service was lacking, we had to ask for our plates to be removed after half an hour of eating, had to ask for more drinks, and also for coffee and dessert

Very noisy when I went on Wednesday for lunch - very hard to hear people talk - that was inside. Fish and chips not that great - chips got cold very quickly!! The portions were far too big for ladies - so much wasteage. There were 10 of us and everyone left food on their plate. When I come back for lunch in January I am going to tell our group to share a plate. Food isn`t that great but convient place to meet. One Thain beef salad had about one whole sliced red onion in the salad - my friend put it to one side so we all could have a look!! Monday night I was outside facing South Street and our table for two was next to the sports bar - also very noisy, but better than inside.

Poor quality pub food compared to nearby venues. The Laksa and Pad Thai were generous and tasty but the classic pub dishes were not good. Tough stale fish, soggy poor quality chips. Chicken parmigiana was large but dry and lacking flavour.

There was a good variety in the menu. The food was promptly served and well presented. The food attendant was very courteous and attended to all our needs. Would recommend it.

Really good environment with good services, the food arrived pretty quick and the steak was fantastic, it’s a really nice place for families and friends to hang out.

Courteous and pleasant staff, very enjoyable food which was presented well and well priced. Only constructive criticism is that we ended up asking to sit outside as inside was extremely noisy.

I have no hesitation in recommending this venue to all age groups. Our group ranged from 18 to 70 years old & everyone was happy. Wait staff are excellent, friendly, efficient & happy. The kitchen staff are obviously great because the food is superb, plain meals & good portion sizes. Service is fast & food arrives hot & pretty much all together, kudos to the Chef & staff. Highly recommend this venue.

A bit too noisy for; the background music needed to be a bit softer perhaps. The food and service were very good. Will return again sometime.

DO NOT BOOK THIS RESTAURANT! I reserved a table for 8 people three weeks in advance. They put us on the same size table (two smaller tables pushed together) as a 4 person table right next to us (which was not occupied during the time that we were there). While we were seated inside the restaurant the sun was setting and I asked for the blinds to be closed as it was directly in my and niece's eyes and was told "The sun will be going down in ten minutes or so so it should be ok then". On Monday 10th of December I had three skin cancers removed (one in the centre of my forehead so was quite obvious as I have stitches) and said to them that I didn't appreciate booking so far in advance and being placed in the worst possible location (tables either side of us were not occupied while we were there and neither were in the sun). My father asked at this time to speak with a manager and was told that none were available. At the end of the night my father, brother and I attempted to speak with management regarding our concerns where I again mentioned the wait staff's inappropriate response to our complaint at which time I informed the cashier that I had skin cancers removed and did not appreciate sitting in the sun when located inside. I asked for a Manager to call me to discuss my concerns however was told "We are going to discuss this at the staff meeting". I responded "So can a manager please call me to discuss these concerns tomorrow?" it was at this time the server identified himself as an owner and said "I don't need to contact you". Not only is the inappropriate but extremely unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE RIVERTON BAR AND GRILL.

Very friendly staff. Fast service. Food was very nice. The portion size is very generous. It was very noisy inside but is to be expected in a bar/grill. Would definitely go back.

First time customer. Being a Sunday night the restaurant was packed but were happy with the service and the food and the ambience of the place.

Very busy restaurant. Nice interior. Chilli mussels still had the 'beard' attached. Not pleasant to eat. Broth and garlic bread very salty. Laksa - good. Chicken parmi burger - good Cheeseburger - good

Great atmosphere, food could have had a bit more flavour but was nice. Service was excellent. We'd been served our drinks and had ordered our meals within 5 minutes of arriving.

The food was just average, tables squashed in & was very noisy & only a Wednesday night. I found it expensive for what we got. Wouldn’t rush back.

Make sure you book well in advance as the venue is very popular. Arrived for the 6.15 sitting and was seated in the alfresco section. Friendly and attentive staff who also know the menu and can provide advice on what to choose. Once ordered the meals came out very quickly and the servings were generous. The total bill for a party of five including a few beers and deserts came to $220. Overall a good local eatery with friendly service, good quality pub food and a relaxed atmosphere. Can get a little noisy inside and so if you want less noise request a table in the alfresco area

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff and great food will be back again. Food and drinks came fast when order, meals sizes are reasonable filled myself comfortably.

Service and food very good. Generous serves. Only issue our table #4 was almost in the kitchen. So it was noisy and so for my son and his partner who were sitting facing the kitchen it was not a pleasant view.

Nice food which was served in good time by friendly staff and generous portion. Look forward to dining here for future get togethers with family and friends

Great atmosphere, really good food, just a bit pricey and the drinks were mainly filled with ice (we ordered Canadian clubs). Booked a table for 4 weeks ago for a special occasion but were placed on a tiny square table. Bumped into someone I knew who hadn’t booked and they had a much bigger table. Waiter was happy to move us though when we asked.

No problem with service, food etc, but the noise was unbelievable with a large party of women over the top with noise. I realise they were enjoying themselves but they upset quite a few people with their inconsiderate screeching. Perhaps a table outside would have been a better option

The food & service was perfect. But, because it was very crowded the noise level was very high and it was a difficult to hold a conversation at a round table without having to raise your voice. The chairs were a bit low for the table and could be a bit higher.

Was very pleased with the atmosphere and the food was very good and service very efficient. Will return again very nice .ssssssssss sssssss sssssss ssssss
