Toledo Lounge is flying the flag of authentic Spanish cuisine the highest in Perth’s Victoria Park, offering an appropriately Iberian atmosphere as well as their massive range of tantalising tapas. Found right on Albany Highway near Burswood and GO Edwards Park, Toledo Lounge welcomes casual drinkers, culinary connoisseurs and passing visitors alike, promising a delicious degustation of meaty (pan-fried chorizo, duck and pork terrine, beef carpaccio served on horseradish and pork belly with bitter orange glaze are among the favourites), fishy (calamari with smoked eggplant, smoked salmon stuffed with manchego cheese, sesame panko king prawns and prawn arancini balls are just a few teasers) and vegetarian (wild pedro creamed mushrooms, seasonal vegetables with almonds and dukkah and fried goats cheese with radish and glazed honey are bound to please carnivores too) nibbles. It does get cosy and crowded, so we recommend booking as soon as possible if any of those tickle the tastebuds.
