Fantastic regional Italian. Generous serves and friendly service. Highly reccomended!

Our first visit and it didn’t disappoint! Our table of three shared the chilli mussels (fresh and plump mussels), the bigoli alla marinara (pasta was perfectly cooked al dente) and capricciosa pizza (delicious). Would certainly recommend and would return. Only downside was that prices were on the higher end for portion size but we were full by the end of the meal.

The staff are very welcoming and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The pizzas and salads were fresh and delicious. See you again very soon.

If you want restaurant quality food in a casual dining experience, Woodpeckers is the place. Lovely outdoor area that was peaceful and comfortable. The garlic focaccia was exceptional. The baked Gnocchi was full of flavour. The wood fired pizza was exactly how you want it: hot and delicious. Great service too.

Good food, service and lovely outdoor courtyard ambiance. We had the lamb ragout with pea cream and almonds which was really tasty and a bit unique from other bog standard Italian restaurants. We also had a pizza, have had better pizzas elsewhere in Perth but it was still yummy. We were originally seated inside but next to a rather intimate couple which the waitress realised and kindy offered us a lovely table outside instead ;) suitable for a relaxed date night - dogs and kids friendly outside but makes for a nice atmosphere.

Staff meeting at doorway very friendly and welcoming. The impression is "it is great to see you here and we will be pleased to serve you" Very prompt delivery of food and served piping hot. We have been a number of times to Woodpecker and will continue to dine there.

This experience was just ok. Very expensive for what you get. Our table wasn’t ready upon arrival and the staff were although friendly quite slow waiting tables. One staff member placed all drinks on the table rather than serving them to each person. Truffle ravioli was tasty but very oily. The pea purée served with the pork dish and lamb ragou was completely overpowering to the point of being inedible.

Staff were lovely and attentive. But for the price, the food was little bit below average. Hassle back potatoes weren't crispy and we're still a bit raw in the middle. Pasta was very tasty, but small serving for the price.

The food was amazing !!! They were big proportions and couldn’t eat my whole meal. The wait staff forgot our drinks order and had to ask them twice. We had a small table and the entree plates were not removed before bringing out the mains . The waiter was struggling to find room to put the plates. We as customers had to stack the plates and hold them while the main meals were placed on the table . She then took the dirty plates from us that were were holding. It wasn’t busy at this time as we had dinner wasn’t. I have been there before and it great, so I will go back for the food .

Loved the service of the waitress/waitor, they are nice & friendly. I had the ravioli with a glass of white sparkling wine while my partner had meat lovers pizza with wild turkey & coke.

The pancetta on my salade and the bacon on the pizza were a bit too fatty. The rest was good
