House specialties like the coconut lime prawn (made with fresh local prawns), gang phed ped yang (a red curry with roasted duck, pineapple, lychee, cherry tomato and basil), and the Massaman-style lamb shank are just a trio of mouthwatering possibilities. There are all the classic Thai soups to start – or choose for a main course – and we can’t go past the Crying Tiger from the grill: finely sliced Wagyu beefsteak with ground and roasted rice, shallots, coriander, served with a jim jaew sauce for dipping.
