Zigi's

Curating cheeses is a fine art. Deciding on a delegation of delicious tastes, textures, tangs and types from across the wonderful world of cheese is a task a lot of restaurants undertake, but it’s one on which they often, sadly, underwhelm. Not so with Zigi’s. Found in the creative hub of Chippendale, just south of the Sydney CBD, Zigi’s is known as a cool venue for art events and live music. But the wooden tables, warm lighting and splashy feature walls of its Abercrombie St wine and cheese bar also make for a perfect situation in which to enjoy some outstanding (and often hard to find) dairy delights, along with an ever-changing array of delicious wines, hand-picked from around the world. If neither party is lactose-intolerant, it’s the ideal spot for a date night. In fact, even if cheese is off the table, it’s still a very solid choice that’s bound to impress.
