Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. If you’re in Surry Hills and you fancy some great Indonesian cuisine, look no further than Medan Ciak. Meals don’t get much more hearty than nasi goreng with a few pieces of fried chicken on the side, which is exactly the sort of food you can expect from the kitchen at Medan Ciak. The menu here changes weekly which means there’s always something new to try, and you’ll find Medan Ciak right on Elizabeth Street, not far at all from Sydney’s Central Station or Prince Alfred Park. This Surry Hills branch is one of two Medan Ciak restaurants, which shows you just how popular it is. Reservations are definitely a good idea.

Our favourite dish was the beef rendang. Will definitely be back!
